DC Universe- 2100

Batman arches an eyebrow and looks at Nightingale before turning back to Nightwing. "Is she affiliated with the League?"

(Back later)

"No." Nightwing said. "But we can fix that."

"Not the League I was referring to.", Batman says.

"No, I'm not with them. Never was." Nightingale said. "My skills I learned elsewhere."

"How much has he told you?", Batman says nodding to Nightwing.

"About?" Nightingale asked.

"The so called 'family'.", Batman says. "You might be his sister but so far it seems like you know more about me than I do about you."

"I just know Gotham has a Batman." Nightingale said. "He's been rather secretive about his time here."

Kasumi thinks for a minute then disappears in a blur, not unlike the ninja she is.

"Right.", Batman says and notices Kasumi disappearing, letting her go for now. "Then it's best you get familiar with the cave before anything else."

"Infact, I better get over there pronto.", Batman mutters. He had gotten a fire alert sent to his display during the fight and expected it had something to do with Lorelei back at the cave.

Lorie digs herself out from beneath a pile up of three drones and coughs. "Okay. So that doesn't work like that. Noted."

Batman had brought Nightwing and Nightingale with him to the cave and had them wait as he went to check on Lorelei's progress.

"So...", he says and eyes the workshop before looking at her. "Smooth sailing?"

"Minor setback. Mostly, it's goin' fine," Lorie responds. "How'd it go?"

"I'm not too sure. I'd like to say that we're in the clear but you never know with the Vampire Bat.", Derek says. "The assassins are gone for the moment. What went wrong here?"

Nightwing showed Nightingale around the Batcave.

"Um...let's say it's not always the red wire," Lorie smiles.

Angelica sits at the monitor going over intel on the various Titans recruits when she notices everyone coming in. "For the most secret place on Earth, this cave is getting pretty busy."

"It's never the red wire.", Derek jokes and walks over to help her out of the rubble, dusting her arms off. He looks up at the prominent RT prototype. "Is that what you've got so far?"

Nightwing walked over to Angelica. "This is my sister." He said introducing Nightingale.

"Nice to meet you," Angelica says, shaking her hand. "The more girls in Gotham to show the boys how it's done, the better."


"Yeah," Lorie says. "That one's just about done."

"Yeah, I noticed that you, uhh... painted the symbol on it. As well as on the other prototypes! Guess that makes it official.", Derek says with an amused tone in his voice, listening partially to the Angelica, Nightwing and Nightingale outside.

"Well someone has to show the knuckleheads." Nightingale said.

"I like your sister, Nightwing," Angelica says. "Do what she says and you should be fine."


"You know it," Lorie says.

"Yeah... Anyway, have fun cleaning this mess up...", Derek says and heads out to the others. "You're not feeding her poison now, are you, Angie?"

"Maybe," Angelica responds. "Come on, you couldn't function without me and Lorie and you know it."
