The drone from before stood by one of the large windows that showed Earth from far away, staring outside.

Lorie glances over at Number 12 then to the rest, all working to clean things up. "Batman, clean up is going fine. I'm going back to Gotham. Keep an eye on 12. Something's up with it."

Batman arches an eyebrow and heads over to the entrance of the main hall, seeing Number 12 sticking out like a sore thumb. "Right. Will do...".

Star follows Batman then looks to 12. She walks over and stands next to the drone with her hands behind her back. "So is something in the way of your...imperative...thingy?" She says.

12 turns it's head slightly to the side as if looking back at her and then looks back through the thick glass window. "Correct.", it answers. "Something."

Star looks back at Batman and shrugs. "So, what's on your mind...or difference engine, or processor, or whatever?"

"Who am I? What am I? What is my purpose? Why is it my purpose? How come I'm the only one standing here? What-"

"You're a drone.", Batman answers before 12 can continue. "A tough shell with an incredible processor that has been... modified.", he says and thinks about Lorelei's involvement. "By accident, too, probably."

12's head hangs low and he turns around slowly to face them. "And they...?", he says and looks at the other drones.

"Not like you, yet just like you as well."

Superman looked up. "I see them." He said spotting the frigate in high orbit.

"Good I'm glad to be getting off this rock." Green Lantern said.

Nightwing was relaxing in the mess hall of the watch tower eating a burrito.

Morningstar opened the back door "Come on, let's go."

"Field Trip, kids, everybody on the bus!"  Angelica says as she flies on the frigate with Metamorpho not far behind.

Wonder Woman catches up with Amazon.  "Are you hurt, sister?  I wasn't aware that Mongul had already placed you in one of his games."

"I'm fine" Amazon said getting on.

Superman and Green Lantern boarded the frigate.

"I'm not sure I understand. Perhaps that's for the best.", 12 says to Batman and Star-Girl.

"Manhunter, we're all clear, get to the frigate!" Angelica says


"I think Batman's just trying to say you're special is all," Star says.

Manhunter flew towards the frigate in a hurry.


"Special?", 12 questions and turns to Batman who gives him a once over.

"Yeah. Special.", he says and heads to the monitors.

(heading out)

Angelica pulls Manhunter onboard at the last second. "Flash, I'll skip telling you to hurry and just tell you to get us outta here!"

"We'll be gone in a flash." The Flash said warping out with the ship after the door sealed.

Angelica took the ring off the second the doors closed.  Now that they were gone, she walks over to Flash up front and punches him lightly on the shoulder.  "You...were late."

"A wizard is never late. He arrives precisely when he means to." The Flash quipped with a smile.

"Okay," she says, punching him again. "Next time, 'Mean' to show up a little earlier. What's our ETA?"

Amazon sat in the back

"Be back home in a few hours." Flash said.

"Hope it's still in one piece" Morningstar said

"I do hope the Watchtower is in one piece.", Manhunter comments amongst them.

"I'm sure it's still there" Star said
