(well, in the history I have for this, Wayne died of old age as did his son but there is a program that ensures there is always a wayne to be Batman. Terry McGinnis is a product of that program, though neither of his parents are related to Bruce he still had the same dna as Bruce and Damien. In the Batman Beyond cartoon the program rewrote Terry's father's dna to match that of Bruces though I'm not too keen on that idea so probably going with some kind of donar program. Terry's father couldn't produce so got a donation which came from a store of Bruces own, after determining that both parents fit the same profile as Bruces parents, thus Terry McGinnis is a son of Bruce Wayne. I'm going to say that, after Terry's death, Wayne Industries became run by a board of trustees or something. I'm thinking maybe a forgotten/unknown heir shows up, still working on who the father would be or if he's just a another product of the Batman Forever Project.)

Derek got ready to leave for the fundraiser.

Lorelei sat on the sofa watching TV. "Have a nice time," she says, flipping the channel.

"You could come if you'd like", Derek offers her as he fixes his tie.

"Maybe I'll stop by later. Someone has to watch Gotham while you're acting like a civilian."

"...Alright.", Derek says. "No junk food.", he says before leaving.

"Yes, daddy," Lorie says, getting up and walking off to the Batcave elevator.

At the fundraiser, Brass sits at a table surrounded by friends, partners, and co-workers. She toasts with them as they celebrate her company's ascension following the recent beating they'd taken. "So what is it you wanted to tell us about?" One of her friends asks.

"Hm? Oh no, not yet. I'm waiting on a friend of mine."

"Alright, let's go kill us some rich people" Delilah smiled getting into the limo driving off to the fundraiser

"Sorry that I'm late", Derek says with a smile as he came up to the table. "Traffic was horrible."

"I'm sure I don't have to introduce you all to Derek Wilson. Outside of the Wayne family, this man is probably one of the most famous philanthropists in Gotham."

"It's very nice to meet you, Mr. Wilson," says one of Brass' friends, a young lady though older than Brass and with white hair.

"This is my friend, Snow. She's my main assistant," Brass says.

"It's nice to meet you as well, Ms. Snow.", Derek says. "Main assistant? Your go-to girl then, Ms. Williams?", he smiles.

"Please, Brass insists on everyone calling me Snow. It's the white hair. You may call me Haley. So what is this big announcement you two have cooked up?"

"Very well, you may call me Derek then. I'm glad we don't have to stay so formal. I'm sure Brass is glad about that as well", he says with a half smile before looking at Brass. "Would you like to tell her?"

"But of course. Everyone, the lot of you are about to get a bit richer. Aerocorp and Wilson International are officially in a partnership. You all would of course benefit from this a fair amount." For a moment Brass could swear she'd seen someone in the window on the upper floor and stares in that direction for a moment before returning attention to the others.

Derek had also been distracted by something. He took part in explaining more about the benefits while activating a signal on his wrist watch that went to Lorelei. He also directed her to the cameras outside.

Lorelei hears her watch beep and heads down to the Bat-Cave, logging onto the monitors. "What's up?"

"I need you to watch the outside, something might be up.", Derek whispers.

"Sure thing," Lorie says, running off to suit up.

"You say something?" Brass says, glancing up to Derek, having been in a bit of a daze.

Derek looks at Brass. "Hmm? Oh, I was just commenting on the pleasant atmosphere."
