Gotham City- 2100

Delilah walked into the room looking around. She headed over to Brass and Derek smiling at the waiter as he pulled out her chair "Well, didn't expect to be sitting here."

Now Brass' demeanor had grown almost entirely different. More ridged and alert. "Hm...well, it's very nice that you did find yourself here," she says.

"Yes, indeed.", Derek says. "I don't believe we've met", he says to Delilah.

"Oh, forgive me, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Delilah, ceo of Lazarus Inc." Delilah smiled "It's an honor to be sittign here with the two of you."

"Yes, well, it's nice to meet you," Brass says.

"This is a nice little dinner you've thrown together" Delilah smiled "Tell me are you two partners or is this just a joint venture between your companies?"

As Brass explains, she is suddenly overwhelmed by her intuition. "Excuse me for a moment please," she says, getting up and walking outside.

(Assassination Games have begun, high profile targets around the globe are being targeted and taken out in a bid to see who is the best assassin and has the right to control all others. Derek and Brass are targets on the list. Frank has sent out a CI to try and make contact with the Albanian. Rebus has taken out several heads of crime families in Gotham claiming thier territories as his own.)

Brass quickly glances about the room, positive that someone was there...watching her. Eventually she returns to her seat and picks up her drink. "So, Delilah, tell me more about Lazarus Inc."

Jack was working at his desk on the Albanian case.

"We're mostly a parmecuetical company that focuses on natural cures for diseases"

"Think I got you something" Frank said after getting a call.

"Oh, is that so. Well I wish you the best of luck."

"Well thank you" Delilah smiled.

"So who invited you?" Brass asks.

"Not really sure" Delilah said pulling out her invitation "all I know is I found this when I got home from a buisness trip."


"Yeah, one of my CI's has managed to get in touch with someone that he says can lead us to the Albanian" Frank said

Brass then turns in her seas as the lights in the room dim and the spotlight hits the stage. The band takes it up and begins to play a classy jazz tune. She then sips her drink and watches them play.

Delilah looked over at Derek smiling "Hey, wanna dance?"

"Ooo... got something for me... fellas?" Jess asked popping her head up being the only one in the station's reception chairs.

"What are you doing here Jess" Frank sighed "Don't you have a class or is it a holiday for you too?"

"She's on field placement... which isn't here, is it?" came the voice of a female officer who wore McKinlay on her badge, "Don't worry, I'm already feeling the strain of having my daughter choosing the occupation of a police officer's enemy. Despite what she thinks, her puppy dog looks won't get her any information from our lips."

Jess sighed and stood up with her notepad, "October, 79 people arrested. November, 131 people were arrested and a further 55 people were reported for behavioural offences. It's the new year, something's going down...the least you guys can do is allow me to warn people to stay at home, and behave."

"Go home, there's nothing here for you" Frank sighed

"Go home and write... Frank saves cat from drain pipe?" Jess remarked getting her pigtail pulled on by her mother, "Alright... alright... I don't need those shiny things on my wrists. I'm an adult... barely...but you owe me Frank... what's so wrong with just a happy police story to get published. They do good things to the ego!"

"You want a story, alright I'll give you a story" Frank said "Right now my partner and I are helping a fellow officer in a case. We are on our way right now to talk with a CI that will help us get close to a drug dealer. There is your story, write that and send it to your paper."
