Gotham City- 2100

"Only thing weird around here lately is the way the docx been acting. He's been really paranoid about only God knows what or why. Oh and there was a box sent here to an old inmate, an Edward Nygma. Supposedly the guy was one of Batman's old foes that was obsessed with riddles, puzzles and all those type of mind game things that I was never good at."

"Sounds oddly familiar." Jack said looking at Frank. "Can we see the box and talk to Mr. Nygma?"

"I can show you the box but you'll need a medium or psychic to talk to Nygma, they guy died like a hundered or so years ago."

"Of course." Jack sighed. "Show us the box then."

The guard took them to the mail room finding the box and handing it over. "Most of us here were taking tabs on what's in the box."
"We'll let you know when we open it" Frank said taking out a knife and opening the box carefull. "Well this is a surprise."

"What is it?" Jack asked walking over.

"Not a puzzle" Frank said pulling out a tape "It's a pre recorded message."

"Something cryptic I'm sure." Jack said.

"Probably" Frank said playing it.

"If you are listening to this then you are not in little pieces, congradulations. You are probably wondering who I am by now but it should be obvious, I am Edward Nygma. What began for you as an inevitable cold case has become a game of wits, one which you have won- or have you? The couple that was murdered had something of mine which I took back after killing them. Oh damn, probably shouldn't have said that but then again whose going to believe a ghost was able to commit such a violent crime. You have the murder in front of you but not. How do you solve this one?"

Jack listened and leaned on the wall. "We have the murder in front of us?"

Frank sighed shaking his head "It means we know who killed them but can't to shit about it unless the lab was able to pull up anything from the scene. And since they haven't yet, I doubt they will. This isn't like one of those old time crime dramas where the lab techs pull some random piece of evidence out of thin air to lead us to the bad guy"

(I meant murderer, its my Riddler inspired guy confessing but as Nygma.)

Jack nodded thinking. "So, the Riddler killed him...there have been reports of a "Riddler" in Gotham recently."

"He must be out patrolling"

"You know, you could just call him. Super hearing must be good for something."
