Gotham City- 2100

Angelica makes it there last and takes the back entrance, climbing in through a window. "I'm sure you're here by now, Batman," Paradox says over the intercom. "No, I'm not in the building. But you may want to find Bat-Girl. Don't worry, I don't know who she is. I could care less. You. You're the real prize. Good luck. I'll give you seven minutes." He then turns the intercom off. Angelica as Bat-Woman walks into one room and sees what looks like Bat-Girl tied to a chair, surrounded by explosives. However, when she tries to free her, she finds it to be a dummy.

"Great," she says.

"Oracle, what are you doing", Batman asks into the com.

Angelica touches her hand to her com. "I'm analyzing possible locations for Paradox. Scans show he's not in the museum. But there are several false vitals in the room just like the dummies in the graveyard. Be careful. The real Bat-Girl is in there somewhere." She then proceeds through the Museum to look for Bat-Girl. What he doesn't know won't hurt him.

"Alright", Batman says going through the top floor.

Suddenly the dummy Bat-Woman was leaving began to tick and Bat-Woman's eyes suddenly widen as she dives away from the door, the explosions all going off and detonating. She manages to get to her feet shortly after and takes off into the museum.

Batman turns around quickly, hearing the explosion. "Oracle, I heard an explosion down the lower hall."

Marko searches the museum thoroughly.

"The dummies are rigged to blow as well. From here at the Bat Cave I can't detect how many dummies there are, exactly."

"I can see one, but I don't know whether it's a dummy or not. How can we be certain that he's got her?"

"We can't be certain but it's safe to say he doesn't want to blow you to bits. Otherwise he'll never know who you are. That's the best bet you'll get that she's there."

Bat-Woman passes one museum case, not noticing as something in it, a golden ring, glows. Her very presence causes this in fact. She then walks into a room across from that case. "Oh my god," she says inwardly. Several Bat-Girls...all dummies. All begin ticking. "Son of a-"


Meanwhile, Bat-Girl begins to come to inside of a museum case. She's in with the neanderthals. She then sees Marko passing and starts to cry out to him, banging on the glass. Though muffled, they can be heard. "Hey! Heeey!"

Marko turns and sees Bat-Girl inside. He signals her to be quiet before phasing through the glass.

After being let out, Bat-Girl sits down. "Thanks...uh...what was your name? I've seen you on TV but..." Suddenly there is a mass explosion from a one of the upper floors. It's the room Bat-Woman had entered. "Holy!" Bat-Girl finally regains her balance and looks around. "What's going on?"

Upstairs, Bat-Woman lay under mounds of debris, half conscious. The blast had torn the case in the adjacent hall clean open. In that, the ring from inside the case had fallen down next to her hand had coated her in a protective golden aura. She lay there unhurt and only out as a result of the shock. She comes to only a minute later.

"Batman, I've got Bat-Girl secured.", Marko says.

"Alright, I'm checking the other explosion", Batman says, heading to the room Bat-Woman was in.

Bat-Woman hears Batman coming and picks herself up out of the debris. She then sees the ring and picks it up. However, the instant she touches it, the ring finds its way onto her ring finger and it literally carries her out of the museum.


Meanwhile, Bat-Girl is arriving to the same room Bat-Woman had been in, only to find it empty with nothing but debris inside.

"I guess it was a malfunction.", Batman says before trying to contact Oracle while investigating the place.

No response. Bat-Girl then tries to contact Oracle herself. "Hey...I'm not getting anything...she all right?"

"Maybe it's Paradox's interference", Batman says. "Let's go back to the cave."

Bat-Girl then nods and follows Batman, finding her Bat-Cycle in an alley near the last place she remembered being before she was snatched up and racing off to the cave. However, at the cave, she finds nothing. No Oracle, the monitors are all off...nothing.

"She's not here?", Batman says as he arrives.

"Not a trace of her."

"Oracle? Oracle?", Batman says into the intercom again while going through the computers.

"Batman, you don't think Paradox..." Bat-Girl begins to say. "Nevermind."

"I doubt it. Strongly.", Batman says as he goes through the security footage.

The footage shows as Angelica approaches her equipment desk and quickly masks her hair color before putting on the costume she'd had holed up in one of the cases. Finally she jumps into modified Bat-Mobile and takes off.

"Wait...you don't think she was..."

"I don't know what to think."

Eric stood looking at the various Batman costumes in the museum. He pulled out his notbook writing a few things down before moving on to find the curator.
