Gotham City- 2100

"Superman?", Batman says. "That would explain a lot.", he says before charging up the weapon. The wings on the Bat-Wing raises up and out beneath them high tech speakers extend. "Cover your ears", he tells Bat-Girl before focusing the sonic assault at the clone.

The instant the sonic weapon goes off, Ultra-Girl begins to hold her head, lowering to the ground and dropping to her knees. She holds her ears as tightly as she can to try and escape the pain of this crippling noise. The other girl lands just behind her with her arms crossed.

"You were right, Oracle", Batman says and after a short while lowers the frequency. He looks at the other girl. "Who are you and who is she?"

The girl glances up at Batman though doesn't immediately respond. "It's Black Marvel," she says, hovering up.

Batman analyzes her suit and gives the name to Oracle. "And her?", he says gesturing to the clone.

"I don't know. I'm only here on vacation. But something pissed her off enough the blow an ice cream truck to kingdom come. Ask her what her problem is."

"If she'll listen", Batman murmurs lowering the sonic frequency. "Who are you", he asks the blonde girl.

She sits there and cradles herself, her knees hugged to her chest. "I don't know. All I remember...the number Thirteen. Images of Superman and Super-Girl. Just...leave me alone," she says.

"Maybe we can help you.", Batman says taking a step closer.

She suddenly looks up, a ferocity to her glowing white eyes. "I said Leave. Me. Alone."

"I can't do that. Evident by the marks you've made", Batman says.

Ultra-Girl then stands up and steps back, hovering just overhead. She then rockets off into the sky. Black Marvel rolls her eyes and watches her leave.

"Boy are you having girl troubles tonight or what," Bat-Girl jokes nervously, rubbing the back of her head.

Batman narrows his eyes at Bat-Girl, although the look was darker than the mask could actually display. He looks over at Black Marvel. "I need to talk with you."

"I'm gonna go look for Dolly again," Bat-Girl says, getting onto her Bat-Cycle and racing off.

Black Marvel watches then turns to Batman. "What?"

"Most of the information that I can find on your name leads me to Captain Marvel. What were you doing before she attacked?"

"...I was sitting at a bus stop on my way back to the hotel for a nap," she says.

"...Basically you're no help to her origin. I'll have to contact someone else. If he's alive.", Batman says.

"Good luck with that," she says before flying off.

"So, what's up here?" Oracle says. "Who's this contact of yours?"

Batman watches her fly off then lets out a heavy sigh. It had been a long night. "Superman or someone related. Someone extra terrestrial."

"So let me guess...you want to go to Metropolis now?"

"No. But I have to."

"Good luck with that then," Oracle says.

"Is there anything you'd like to tell me? It doesn't sound like you approve."

"No, nothing at all. Have fun out there."

"...Very well.", Batman says getting in the Bat-Wing and flying off.
