DC Universe- 2100

"You two are adorable." Joseph said coming around the corner in his street clothes. "Oh and the whole replacement thing. Stays between us for now." He said heading to the war room.

"Well, you're half right. I am adorable. But yet. Fine. Secret. Hush Hush. Got it. Cross my heart and blah blah blah."

Joseph just gave a thumbs up as he walked into the War Room behind Derek.

Bat-Girl follows the others to the War Room.

Derek waits by the long table and stares at the plans spread out, waiting on Joseph and Angelica.

Joseph came up next to Derek. "So what's the plan?"

"Atlantis has gone dark," Wonder Woman says.  "We were maintaining communication with Aquaman before.  Now he's gone.  We should send someone to investigate."

"The teleporters are a bad idea," Zita says. "Their energy signature could be tracked if something's going on down there. I can send a small group down to help him, though."

"I'll go." Joseph volunteered.

"I'll join you" Star said.

"Excellent! Stand together, boys! Buckle up and say cheese," Zita says, cracking her knuckles then clapping her hands together. "Tropelet ot Sitnalta." Then she opens her hands and a little magic ball appears between them that she throws at Batman and Morningstar, teleporting them to Atlantis.

Derek sighs inwardly and proceeds to go through the plans.

"What did they do to you" Delilah asked meeting with Derek "Tell me who did this to you and I will bring you their head."


"So glad to finally get a chance to meet with you" Edgar said taking off his jacket coming into Eliabeth's apartment. "I was beginning to worry none of my messages were getting through."

"I did this to myself. I'm paying the price for my pride.", Derek says as he stares out the window of his office. "I guess I could ask how you got in here, but maybe I should ask why, instead."

"Seeing you like this why I originally came seems pointless" Delilah said. "Now I wish to offer to help you regain what you have loss and maybe even better."

"As unbelievably tempting that sounds, I'm not holding my breath without knowing if there are strings attached.", Derek says. "Why would you help me?"

Bat-Girl glides down a Gotham alley. She lands on a couple of fleeing crooks and bounces off of them, stopping in front of them both. "It really is the little things," she says to herself. "Everything is, at last, as it should be."

"Because you and I are destined to be together" Delilah said "and I do not like seeing you broken."

Elizabeth set her bag down. "Well I've been a little busy, but they didn't go unnoticed. What can I do for you?"

"I understand" Edgar said "I heard you were rebuilding Amusement Mile, I was hoping I could be a part of that. Our families were once close, I believe my father even referred to your grandfather as his favorite brother in his journals. I would love for us to be close again."

Elizabeth nodded. "Waynes and Graysons are family. I know my brother feels that way as well."

"That's good to know" Edgar smiled "Not easy though living up to their reputation sometimes"

Elizabeth nodded. "No it's not, but we have to try."

"That's all we can do" Edgar agreed "There was one other thing I wished to discuss with you. It has something to do with our, other lives."

Derek shook his head. "There is nothing between you and I. Yet you continue to insist.", he says. "It's not healthy."

"You'll see it eventually" Delilah said getting up to leave "but my offer is genuine."
