Back at the Batcave, Bat-Girl walks to the elevator to see Derek in his study.

Batman headed inside joining the two.

"So what did you guys find out about this bird?", Derek says while engrossed in a book.

"Well he calls himself Emperor Penguin." Batman said. "We thought he had hired both Clue and Mad Hatter but turns out Clue may have simply stolen Hatter's hat to throw us off. He's also taken out Vega so now it's just him and Black Mask."

"So we have two men, both of whom wishes to monopolize organised crime. That won't do.", Derek says and turns a page over.

Batman took his cowl off and set it down. "Any ideas?"

"Well, we need someone to 'shoot first' so to speak, although I guess that already happened.", Derek sighs and closes his book. "Clue doesn't care whose side he's on as long as it allows him to 'stretch his legs' and go nuts. Emperor Penguin must amuse him quite a bit in order for him to do his dirty work like this. But if that's what he's currently doing then I suspect Black Mask is at a terrible disadvantage, but with that we can presume where Clue or the Penguin might strike next and possibly act accordingly by preparing for the worst. Unless Black Mask already has. It is quite possible that they might turn this into a even bigger war for territory."

(Well that was fun to follow. Now, I've got Vidar and Nightstalker as members of Suicide Squad/Secret Six going after Bane or Croc or both, not really sure if anyone had someone they wanted to throw on that team)

"Are you sure this is the right place?" Vidar asked
"No, but this is where the intel she gave me says we can find him."

((I didn't have anyone in mind to get involved in that, no. I could maybe fit in Inque. She's basically Clayface for the time being))

"And if there's one thing we've had enough of in the past few months, it's war," Angelica says.

"Can say that twice." Joseph said leaning against a table. "So should we just tail Black Mask until Clue hits him?"

"Whatever we do, it can wait til tomorrow. I'm heading home. See you boys later," Angelica says, walking off.

"Have a good one."Joseph said before looking to Derek. "We need to talk."

Vidar followed Nightstalker into the sewers.

Centurion dropped down after Vidar.

Inque follows the boys into the sewer.

"Keep your eyes open" Nightstalker said "could be anywhere."

"About the mantle, I assume.", Derek says and leans back.

"Edgar wants it." Joseph said. "And he wants Nightwing to lead his team called the Birds of Prey."

"He's just paving the road, isn't he.", Derek says with a slightly blank stare, tapping his fingers on the armrest of his wheelchair. He pauses and shrugs before moving away from his desk, wheeling himself to a bookshelf. "He doesn't need my permission. He told me he'd take it back eventually.", he says and returns his book on the shelf.

Joseph walked over and tossed the cowl in Derek's lap. "Yeah well it's yours, I'm just renting it. You're Batman. He's Talon."

"I will never be Batman again, Joseph. You and my sister should have figured that out by now.", Derek says and looks at the cowl before rolling towards the nearest hall, dropping the cowl in a nearby trash can. "Let Edgar know I don't care. Good night, Joseph.", he says and exits the room.

Joseph watched him before walking over and pulling the cowl from the trash. "You'll be Batman again." He said under his breath.

Derek enters his room and contacts Delilah through a text message from a disposable phone. 'When can we do it?' it said.
