"Yeah, I'm just LOVING this good ol' fashioned quality time with my bestest of buddies in the whole wide world," she says, nodding at Eve.

"Are things always this lenie-" Aviary hasn't any time to finish as Bee suddenly covers her mouth.

"Do you WANT to jinx it? Hey, wait a minute...where's Star?"

Eve glanced up at Bee, then back to her journal and snickered to herself.
"Kory's getting the pool toys from the basement." Cassie said.

Gemini, disguised as Starfire, typed feverishly on one of the main computers and siphoned the data out into a hard drive.
Nightwing came in from the security room, and crossed his arms. "What are you doing, Kory?"
"Wendy asked me to save some things onto this hard drive for her." Gemini lied, not making eye contact with him.
"How come?" He asked.
Starfire shrugged. "I'm going swimming. It's Sunday." She walked to her room and placed the hard drive somewhere safe, then came down to the pool.

Bee watches Star come outside. She then thinks about something and hovers inside.

"So what have been the recent developments?" Aviary asks.

Shadow sat in a chair reading a book of his own while the others played

"What are you reading?" Eve asked Red Shadow without looking up from her book.

"Recent developments?" Starfire turned to Aviary.

"Villains you've encountered?" Aviary says, attempting to correct herself.

"The city's been quiet besides Dr. Light and Viper." Starfire said, lowering herself into the pool.

"Recent developments?" Starfire turned to Aviary.

"Art of War" Shadow said "and the city hasn't been quiet. Witch and I were out earlier stopping a kidnapping, car jacking and a few other crimes while you all were here getting ready for this party."

Aviary then goes inside and reemerges through the doors with her wings. "If you'll excuse me," she says, pulling her mask over her head. Her mace is on the sash around her wait. The instant she grabs hold of it, her entire demeanor changes. "I have things to take care of." She then jumps over the ledge of the building.

"Ooh, someone's miffed," Bee says.

Starfire turned and glared at Shadow. "In terms of significant crime, it's been silent." She said, undermining his accomplishments.

"Well.." Eve said quietly, "Art of War is a great book." She attempted to cut the tension.

Shadow set his book to the side "So you don't consider a child being taken from his parents, a bank being robbed or someone's identity being stolen as insignificant crimes? All crimes are significant on earth princess, no matter how minor they might seem. There is a victim that is being harmed on some level."

Bee hovers down suddenly between them. "Hey now, let's not get to fighting the wrong people, huh? Uh...I know, Star, what about one of Cyborg's steaks?! Or maybe one of your favorite Tamaranean delicacies?" She laughs nervously afterwards, hoping not to get put through the roof. She wasn't exactly the most peace inspiring young lady.

"I am not fighting" Shadow said "Just trying to be clear about exactly what this team is here for. Are we like the Justice League, a team that only shows up to help when the world is in a crisis or a super villian is involved or are we the type of team that helps everyone, even if the criminal is just a normal person?"

"Even the Justice League doesn't have the man power to take on EVERYONE. So they mostly deal with the bigger stuff...and hey a lot of Batman's goons are normal! ...Crazier than your average guy but normal."

Gemini simply sat back and watched the two talking, then got out and laid herself out to tan.

"Order up!" Cyborg said, bringing everyone a burger. "And I don't want to hear any arguing, alright?"

"Yeah, I'm not really sure about our purpose either." Eve said. "Are we just a big JLA fanclub?"

"Stop siding with him." Starfire said. "You sound so desperate."

Eve suddenly became enraged and her aura reached out to everyone, letting them feel her fury. "What did you call me?"

"If need be, I WILL knock you all out now cool it and go eat!" Bee screams, surprised at herself. She then coughs int her fist. "Please and thank you."

Eve's aura became so enraged that it translated itself from spectral energy to physical, propelling nearby objects at Starfire, namely her iced water.
Starfire stood up and starbolts sparked into her hands. "You're going to regret that, bitch." She said, her voice not Starfire's, but Gemini's rather.

Eve put her hands to her temples and delved into Starfire's mind, at first attempting to subdue her, but quickly learned that it wasn't Starfire at all. Rather, she reached into her mind and briefly muffled her shapeshifting abilities so that she reverted to Gemini, her true form. "She's not Starfire!" Eve shouted.

Cyborg quickly recognized her and his hand whizzed and whirred, forming a pulse canon. "Titans together!"

Shadow leaped to his feet quickly

Bee sees Starfire transform into Gemini. "Oh, now I really DO get to knock someone out." Her stingers protrude from her wrists and she holds a martial stance.

Shadow extended his staff taking a stance

Seeing Cyborg's blast heading toward her, Gemini changed her body into a more flexible form and stretched around it, more efficiently than jumping out of the way would have been.

She made an evasive jump forward, changing form into a 10 foot crocodile, slamming Bee and White Witch into the pool with her tail. Here, she reverted to human form and began sprinting away.

Bee's powers and altered anatomy began to show as she was unable to swim and because her wings were now wet, she couldn't manage to fly out. She would drown unless something was done.

"HAA!" Then comes the roar of something piercing the very sky as Aviary's mace lands clean in front of Gemini. In turn, the winged girl then lands just beside it and picks it up.

Gemini dodged the mace and jumped over Aviary in a sprint for the water, which would give her a chance to turn to something amphibian and escape.

Wonder Girl pulled Bee out from the water and instantly pressed off the ground, soaring toward Gemini.

Shadow pole vaulted towards Gemini kicking her in the back towards Wonder Girl.
