Gotham City- 2100

"Well, what do you want me to do?"

"Go through through the most recent articles that contain his name.", Derek tells her before going quiet. "...What do you want for dinner tonight?"

"Anything edible. I haven't eaten in days. Too worried about...well there's a surprise...Hicks' records have been erased. But recently someone by the name of David Hickins bought up a few warehouses around Gotham. Lorie, how DO you do it."

"I have no clue, but you do it well", Derek says with a small smile. "Good work."

"Thank you, Thank you. But in all seriousness, watch your back. It's like the guy is always three steps ahead."

"Then I will be one step ahead of him. Simple as that.", Derek says with a short chuckle.

Lorelei shrugs and turns around in the seat, getting up and walking off up to the elevator out. "If you say so."

Derek arches an eyebrow before hanging up and heading down the street.

Lorelei sits and watches TV once back in her room. Yet she can't shake the feeling that she'd being watched.

Derek also felt like he was being watched for some reason. He turns several times to look behind him.

He walks through the door and heads toward the kitchen, throwing the newspaper he'd picked before on the kitchen table.

Elsewhere in the city a gang meeting is interrupted when the doors are blown clean open. The guards posted outside fall dead in the doorway and several men and women occupy the room, all wearing clown-like make-up. Then enters a woman in a colorful and rather festive getup. She holds a large machine gun behind her back, smiling all the while. "All right, boys, listen up! I'm sure you're busy and all but all work and no play makes Jill a dull girl! So here's the deal, bozos!" She then holds up her weapon as her many followers load theirs. "This is officially Harlequin Gang territory! Either join up or clear out!" The several gathered gang leaders all sit around and gawk or glare at her. "No, huh? Well, I tried the civil way. You guys don't know what you're missin' neither. We even have jackets! But I guess now we try for the fun way! Ladies and Gentlemen, on your marks! Get set!"

Suddenly all of the gang leaders get up and rush for the door. "Good boys!" This mad woman says. She then takes it upon herself to put a bullet in one's leg as he escapes. "Get outta here!"


Lorelei looks about the room several times though ultimately pulls herself together and heads out to the kitchen. "So you have any business today?"

"Well he's Eastern European possibly Albanian and that he is operating on the East side of town mainly." Jack said.

"So we're looking for an Albanian" Frank said "Shouldn't be too hard."

Jack nodded. "That's what my friend said but he's been having a hard time finding this guy."

"Then we send out some bait" Frank smiled

Rose races through the streets on her motorcycle after a hot car. What idiot dared steal a car in front of a large group of people she'd never know. But it made her life more fun so what the heck.

"No, everything at the office is already set up. Except for that Aerocorp... thing...", Derek said and immediately got to thinking about Brass.

"Oh, you mean your date with Ms. Williams right?" Lorelei says nonchalantly, flipping a page in a book.

Derek arches an eyebrow at that and gives Lorelei a short glance before turning the stove on. "Not sure what to call it..."

"Whatever you say," she says, flipping another page, still nonchalantly, not looking up from her book. "Oh yeah, so you hear about what happened yesterday? There actually might be someone out there more insane than Clue."

"Oh yeah? There might be?", Derek says a bit louder to keep his voice over the sound of the kitchen fan.

"Can't really prove it while Clue's holed up in Arkham but this new psycho's called Madcap. People think she's a myth but, come on, you know better. The cops got the tip by interrogating a few gangsters. Said she just showed up and took over. They passed it as the crooks trying to get out of jail time."

"I guess that's something to look into", Derek says, not entirely interested.

"Shouldn't we take care of fining Angelica first?"
