Gotham City- 2100

"Dolly? What about her?"

"They used to film her old show there."

"Oh yeah, forgot about that. How do you figure she ties into this?"

"She's still on the loose and it wouldn't surprise me if this Riddler fan had struck a deal with her somehow. It's just a thought. We'll see. I'm going to check that studio first."

"Good luck," Oracle says.

"...Thanks.". He lands ontop of a rooftop and heads down.

Inside, a figure in a familiar question mark covered suit stands in the seats as Batman comes into the set. "Well, well, THERE you are, Batman. I was beginning to doubt you'd show up. I see...very well. Let's see how good you are at improvising, shall we?" He claps and a spotlight hits the other side of the set, revealing gothic little Dolly standing in a kitchen chair.

"Hi Batman," she says calmly and dryly.

"She's just dying to play with you. Isn't that right, Dolly?"

Dolly then nods calmly.

"I don't have time for games. Your or hers."

"Take off the mask and there won't be any games, I promise," this man says. "That's right, folks, here it is live and only on Conundrum! The Identity Of...Wait For It...The Batman. And I'm your host, Paradox!"

Batman changes the visor of his cowl to try and see if he was actually in the room by finding Paradox's heat signature. "You're quite confident in yourself."

"Don't waste you're time, Batman. I'm right here in front of you in the theater seats. See, here I am. Remember me NOW? Remember embarrassing me on my own show a few years back? Fighting Styles are like Fingerprints. I've been able to connect you and another vigilante. Red Robin, correct? That was you not long ago. Now here you are, all grown up and in your big boy pajamas." Paradox then leans into the light. "Well, it's payback time."

"It seems like you haven't grown up from that stubborn attitude.", Batman says, analyzing their surroundings. He couldn't remember ever having met this man before.

"Mock all you want, Batman. You've met your match this day and that is I, the most brilliant mind in Gotham. Dolly, why not show him how to play with you clay?"

"Okay," Dolly says. She then removes a container of play-doh from her pocket. "Come out to play," she says.

Suddenly the container erupts open and out from it emerges a large animated monster made of clay. "Do you give up now, Dark Knight?"

Play-Doh then lunges forward and attacks Batman.

Batman jumps up and steps on Play-Doh's face before turning in the air, throwing exploding packs that release liquid nitrogen onto him.

Play-Doh grabs Batman as he begins to freeze and absorbs the hero into his amorphous body to try suffocate as well as freeze him. "After you've died in there, Batman, I'll shatter the ice that remains and remove that mask from your face myself."

"You're a horrible deducer", Batman says and activats a smaller version of the sonic device on his left arm, shattering half of Play-Doh's body and distracting the others.

"Deduce your identity? While I certainly could, where would the fun be in that? It would require a simple thought is all. This way is much more fun. Dolly, why not let your mommy play as well?"

Dolly then sits in the chair. "Mama, do you want to play?" The gothic little girl's female aid then emerges from the darkness and tackles Batman as Play-Doh starts pulling himself together.

"You're so nice to play with my little bundle of joy, you know that?" Mama says.

Batman let out a grunt and rolled back, kicking Mama off him into Play-Doh.

Mama lands in Play-Doh who suddenly morphs into a cannon and shoots Mama back out at Batman. She then grabs him by the shoulders and lands, flipping him over her head, throwing him at the wall. Meanwhile, Paradox leans forward in amusement.

Batman slowly gets up and throws smoke pelets that fill the room with smoke.

Paradox sees this and cocks and eyebrow. "Impressive, Dark Knight. You have a very impressive arsenal. Though I sutter to think what'd happen if you didn't."

"Good point", Batman says, rising up behind Paradox to grab him.

Paradox chuckles to himself and ducks then swiftly turns around and pops Batman over the head with the cane. Not particularly hard but teasingly. He then stands and leaps down the rows of seats, pointing the cane at him and pressing a button on it that triggers explosives from under them. The rows of seats begin to explode then as Paradox runs into the next room. Meanwhile, Play-Doh fans away the smoke and both he and Mama turn to Batman.

Batman narrows his eyes as he watches Paradox leave. He stands up and goes toward the exit to pursue Paradox. Before Play-Doh and Mama can advance on him, several more pelets are dropped, a few of them filled with sleeping gas and the other with quick spread liquid nitrogen.

Paradox turns around at a double door in the hall and chuckles. He then presses a button on his cane and a cage drops down between the two of them. "You know the only way you're going to get me, Dark Knight. Remove the mask and tell the world who you REALLY are! No? I thought not. It looks now like it's about time," Paradox says, pressing another button on his cane. "For Double Jeopardy." Suddenly a blast door drops down between him and Batman which he then uses to get away while Batman's caught behind it.
