Gotham City- 2100

"Don't start with me", Derek tells her with light hearted tone, heading to the elevator that took them to the cave.

Lorelei steps out of the elevator and goes to change up then returns to the main area. "So...tiger?"

Derek returns with his new armored suit on, adjusting one of the gloves. Batman sighs. "Lorelei...Yeah. Tiger."

Lorelei nods and pulls her mask over. "Hm...cute pet name, at least. So what's the plan?"

Derek gives her a kind of hopeless look then sighs. "Well, we've got a trail on Paradox, so we'll use that."

"All right, so we check the warehouses he bought up, see if he used any of them as a base. Make sense. Uploaded the list into your cowl."

"I can see that", Batman says looking it over. "Remember", he says while heading for the bat-mobile, "Be careful. Okay?#

Lorelei revs her bat-cycle and hits the headlight. "I will be. I promise."

Batman looks at her then nods once before reving the engine, driving off.

Bat-Girl races off into Gotham, heading off to the second warehouse on the list as it was closest.

Batman heads toward the 3rd warehouse.

Bat-Girl stops at her warehouse and looks around. "I'm at the first one. No one that looks like a boss. Just a bunch of goons inside."

"Stick around. He might come to you", Batman tells her as he scouts the 3rd warehouse. "No boss here, either."

"Maybe he's in the last one," Bat-Girl says.

"Alright. Do you have the recording devices with you that you can place down, just in case?"

"Indeed I do," Bat-Girl says.

"Good. I'm going to do the same thing here", Batman tells her. "Meet me at the first warehouse"

Bat-Girl then jumps down from the roof onto her bike and races off, meeting Batman later at the first warehouse.

Batman beckons for her to follow him as he got onto the roof.

There stands Paradox in a room filled with what look to be dangerous technologies.

"Jackpot", Batman murmurs and scans the area as well as the room for anything hidden.

"So let's get in there after him," Lorie says. "The sooner we get him to tell us what he did with Angelica, the better."

Batman opens up a pocket in his belt and withdraws a handful of black batarangs. "Get ready for gas", Batman tells her as he throws the batarangs down, aiming them at Paradox's technology, surrounding the villain. Gas began to spread into the room and the batarangs worked as a way to increase his vision once they were inside. He jumps down.

Bat-Girl lands on Paradox. The villain turns over, revealing himself to be...a hostage. A scared stiff hostage, bound and gagged, yelling muffled by the tape over his mouth. "What?" Bat-Girl says.

"Bullshit.", Batman murmurs using the bat-mobile's system and the other cameras to look for Paradox. "He did not know."
