Gotham City- 2100

Derek scratches his chin slowly with a finger. "The Warden. Maybe corrupted officers and security. We should investigate... tomorrow."

"Good call...'Night," Lorelei says, heading up to her room.

"I have a... meeting tomorrow", Derek recalls as he heads to bed.

The next morning, Lorelei sits up early in the cave, working on her project from the night before.

Derek walks in with a business suit on, trying to fix his tie.

"Someone's up early," Lorelei says.

"Yeah, I have an arrangement that I need to go to", Derek says.

"And here I thought bats hated sunlight," she laughs and Angelica arrives.

"Hey, you two. Lorelei, your breakfast is waiting for you upstairs. Get a move on."

"Yes mother dear," Lorelei says sarcastically rushing off.

Derek watches Lorelei rush off and then looks at Angelica. "Morning"

"All right, what are you up to?"

(Go and get something to eat, haha)

"I have a meeting with Brass Williams."

"Figured as much," Angelica says. "And by 'meeting' I take it you mean date."

"I'm actually not sure what to call it.", Derek says with an amused smile on face, looking like he's thinking back. He turns to leave. "See you later"

"Hey, do me a favor? Don't let her kill you," Angelica jokes, sitting down at the monitors.

"I'll try to put up a fight", Derek says. He heads out to meet Brass.

Brass sits alone in her office, looking through secret files planted by the several weasels she knew of in her company. She had been searching for any other under the table deals. She abruptly turns off the monitor when she hears a knock on the door and picks up the phone, putting her hand over the receiver as if someone was there as the door opens. "Well, look who it is. What may I do for you, tiger?"

"I hope I'm not disturbing you", Derek says closing the door behind him. "I was wondering if we could continue on from where we last left off. The co-operation, I mean... Over lunch perhaps."

"Is that so? All right, what did you have in mind?" Brass says, 'hanging up'.

"I was hoping we could have a more private discussion eating at my place", Derek offers. They had done some risky things before and he knew the safest place was his to prevent leaking of information. "I make a mean omelette."

"I'll hold you to that. Fine. When's most convenient for you?" Brass says, searching through a few stored computer files.

"Anytime before ten tonight.", Derek says watching her. "I've got a lot extra hours."

(Leaving a little hint that he'll be busy at night)

"I'll be over at nine then. I have some things to look over and after ten I have a few meetings to take care of. See you then, tiger."

"Count on it", Derek says with a confident smile and nod, leaving her office.

Brass arrives at the building that night and looks around then knocks on the door and steps back.
