Gotham City- 2100

"Man, she's getting good at this," Bat-Girl says. "Anyway, thanks for the help." She then begins to fiddle with the Bat-Claw.

"Yeah, sure" Nightlight said "right well I better get going."

"Tell your White Knight buddy that the Dark Knight told him to keep up the good work," Bat-Girl says, shooting the Bat-Claw and making off to find Dolly.

"Shining Knight" Nightlight said "and if I see him I will."

"I guess we'll find out"; Batman said before flying off in his Bat-Wing.

Several people lay tied up to tombstones in the cemetery as Batman arrives. "Batman, I have a few of my systems back. I was able to scan all of the tombstones. Seven hostages. No bombs or armed thugs though. They're just tied up. Some residue on the tombstone in the center of the cemetery. Like like it may be writing of some sort."

Batman nods. "Yes, I see", he says and heads towards the tombstone slowly.

On the tombstone is a riddle. Good, Dark Knight, you made it! Now I will hold up MY end of the bargain. Riddle Me This; Who was in the Hospital Monday, The Church Tuesday and Wednesday, Home Thursday, Back in the Hospital Friday and Saturday...and right where you stand now on Sunday?

"Batman, what's it say?" Oracle questions.

Batman told Oracle the riddle before coming to the conclusion himself. "...Solomon Grundy."

"What about Solomon Grundy?"

Suddenly a large white fist punches up through the ground, the attached forearm as large as Batman's entire body.

"He's here and awake", Batman says stepping back.

"Solomon Grundy...Born on a Monday..." Says the hulking undead man as he emerges from the ground. Around his neck is a collar with an inscription on it. But before there's any chance to analyze it, Grundy attacks Batman.

Batman dives to the side and tries to lead him away from the hostages while trying to get a lock on his collar.

Grundy lunges at Batman and throws a forceful punch, roaring in trying to crush his human body. "You want me to send Bat-Girl?"

"No.", Batman says. "Not to fight, at least. Get her to the hostages", he says jumping up on Grundy's arm before he kicks the giant in the head and jumping off.

Oracle then contacts Bat-Girl and gets her en route to the cemetery.

Grundy staggers back for only a moment then raises both his arms and slams his fists into the ground where Batman had been.

Batman gets blown back by the shockwave.

Bat-Girl arrives at the scene and sees Batman fighting Grundy. She then looks around and begins freeing hostages.

Grundy approaches and picks up Batman then holds him close, growling at him. "Grundy will kill the Bat," he says, locking Batman in a bear hug. However, he's holding him close of enough to read the collar.

Riddle Me This; When is an Identity not Who it Appears to be?

"When is an identity... not... who it appears to be...", Batman says into the intercom as he struggles to break free.

"When it's...A Split Personality! There's nowhere to key it in, just say it."

"A split personality", Batman nearly shouted.

The receiver in the collar then goes off an shocks Grundy who drops Batman and backs away. Grundy is shocked to incredible ferocity to the point where he eventually passes out and falls into the hole he'd erupted from. "Very good, Dark Knight! Are you using the internet? Never mind that for now, you've won the day! Stay tuned! This was all a wonderful test! The REAL show has yet to begin. You still won this time, however. You should celebrate! ...For now," says this figure through the speaker on the collar.

Batman holds his waist listening to the figure. "A test, huh..."

"You shall see soon enough, Batman," the transmission then ends.

Bat-Girl makes her way to Batman. "Batman, the hostages...they were all fakes. Incredibly elaborate fakes. Not a one of them real people. What's going on?"

"Someone's trying to be the new Riddler."
