Star Wars: A New Dawn

Ford sat in the cockpit monitoring the perimeter sensors when they suddenly picked up movement. He turned to Leia. "Is anyone outside?"

A Mandalorian squad was making it way through the forest having past the farthest of the Katari's sensor nodes.

Qui Gon came out firing at the Mandalorians

Darren watched from afar before heading off to his ship to get ready. He had to get back to his ship and keep tabs on Ford.

Leia looked behind her, "they shouldn't be, cindals back inside again after I asked case to bring her back in. What do you pick up?"

"Movement near the outer perimeter."

"Perhaps it's good then to keep everyone on this ship. I don't want he dreams I've been having to be real. Having someone betray us is the last thing we want added to the list of problems."

"Get them back on the ship." Ford said heading out. "I'm going to see what's coming this way."

"They all should be," Leia replied, "ill do a head count and account for everyone."

"Keep a look out for any activity around the perimeter I made. One of the Jedi's bound to pop up sooner or later.", Darren said to his pilot after boarding the ship.

Case headed further into the forest and soon forgot all about being on her guard. The voices in her head were gone and she needed them to return, she needed to know from her father what he wanted her to do now. He told her she was close, close to reaching her full potential but now he won't return to protect her and tell her where to go.

The pilot on Darren's ship turned to him, "well I have been monitoring a figure in the forest. Bigger than an animal but it's alone so I'm not entirely sure why if it was a Jedi they would be so apart from their ship and alone."

Several Mandalorians spotted Case and opened fire on her from a distance.

Ford shot up as the ship picked up blaster fire nearby.

Qui Gon continued firign on the Mandalorians

Case ducked behind trees taking cover having her lightsaber ready if she needed it. She was startled, what was she doing this far from the ship? It made no sense to her. Coming out of the trance she was in, she realised she was in trouble. Surely if her father knew she was in high levels of danger he would come to her help. Unless her thoughts were spot on correct. Maybe all he was, was a ghost and he couldn't take human form. He could at least help her!

"I'm not keen on joining you where you are yet father, no disrespect," she muttered finally fighting back sending some laser blasts back.

Kill them

The Mandalorians kept behind the cover of the thick trees as they fired.

The Mandalorians brought up a large repeating blaster cannon setting it up to fire on Case.

The Mandalorians attacking Qui-Gon kept up their fire before one shot a rocket into the cave.

Qui Gon watched as the his ship e s srncck, a ball of flame errupting from the cave entrnce. He tossed his blasters to the side letting out a loud scream using force blind on the Mandalorians before pulling out his sabers speeding towards them and cutting through them.

"Is that so. Perhaps this figure could be useful to us.", Darren said after listening to the pilot before pausing. "I'm sensing more commotion farther out. The Mandalorians are spreading like wildfire it seems.", he said and sat down, crossing his legs in meditation. "Do not disturb me. Keep looking for other ships leaving the planet."

He was going to try and reach out to Case.

A Mandalorian fell back as he was blinded but shook off the effects before looking up and seeing Qui-Gon cutting the others down.

Qui Gon stalked towards him "There were innocents in there that just wanted to get home. You just had to let me leave and none of this would've had to happen."

"This is war Jedi." The Mandalorian said. "There's always collateral damage." He said pulling a side arm and firing as he turned his jetpack on flying up into the air.

Qui Gon deflected the blast back at him. "I'm not one of those emotionless fools." He sent bolts of lightening out to fry him.

The Mandalorian screamed as his armor conducted the lightning.

Case was struck in the upper right arm but she managed to clench her teeth together firmly to avoid a scream that would let them know they got her. While she liked to believe and act like she was a Jedi knight she was only an apprentice and she could only produce a small shield circle. It meant she had to move to another location quickly.

The shield vanished as soon as she found safety behind an even larger tree and knelt down to check herself out.

"Who are you? You're not my father and thank you for telling me which way to go," case said back to the voice in her head. She had remarkable telepathic connections with other force users but she didn't understand what it really meant.

Qui Gon finished him off and continued on making his way back to town.

Use the Force...and crush them. They threaten you Case but you're stronger tap into your emotions use them wipe them out.

Ford was heading out find Case when he looked up seeing Mandalorian fighters fly over head, in the distance he could hear explosions.

Admiral Ackbar stood on the bridge of his Endurance-Class Fleet Carrier, the Coruscant overseeing the Republic 7th Fleet as it came out of hyperspace and began engaging the Mandalorian Fleet in orbit.

Several fighters and transports were already en route to Galidraan's surface to rescue Ford and the others as well as to liberate the world.

'This girl is quite unusual...', Darren thought to himself as he attempted to connect with Case. It was like he was reaching out to two personalities at once.
