Morningstar fired a shot at the large android

Batman grabbed the pole as he used it to vault causing her to hit the ground before he cracked along her jaw with it as she went to regain her footing.

As she begins to stumble back, Deadeye taps a button on her belt and the Black Bat jet boots fire off with the zero-g tech in the suit, letting her regain her composure and land on her feet. Then she presses a button on her gauntlet and the staff converts back into a bow. She makes a gesture with her hands and the bow fires off an energy arrow into Batman's gut, throwing him back. She then snatches the bow out of the air before it hits the ground after being dropped. She bows upon reclaiming it and flipping back across the room.


Adaptroid raises its hands and suddenly a small singularity opens in the center of the room, pulling in the light with an immensely powerful gravitational pull. When the blast has gone, Adaptroid closes the micro black hole and converts his hands into sonic cannons, firing around the room at Morningstar and Aquaman.

Morningstar glances over at Aquaman "Any ideas how to stop this thing?"

"It seems to have trouble with magic." Orin said.

Batman stood up and spat. "Cute trick." He said. "My turn." He said Deadeye's bow exploded from her hand as a small bomb he'd planted on it while it was a pole went off in her hand.

"I hope you have something magical then. All I do is put on lightshows."

"My trident." Orin said. "Make your way to the room in the rear of the room, I have a sword with magical properties there you may use for now."

"Never used a sword before, but there's a first for everything" Star said making his way to the back room

Deadeye looks down at her bow and narrows her eyes before she's thrown back into the wall.  "Ow..." she squeaks as she practically peels off and drops to the floor.  "Ow ow ow ow ow.  Well...I'm not dead.  The bat suit's good for something."  She sits there on the ground, holding her head.  "Ugh..."

Adaptroid turns and takes note of Deadeye, ignoring the heroes and approaching her.

Orin took the opening and lept at Adaptroid putting his trident in the back of it's head.

Batman walked to Deadeye and grabbed her by her cowl pulling her up and throwing her through a window sending her into the main atrium of the building. "You're not Lorie, so I going t beat you down like any other criminal."

As she crashes through the window, Deadeye catches herself with the suit's flight mode and lands on her feet.  Her bow flies back to her hand.

Adaptroid reaches back and grabs the trident as it approaches, then violently spins his torso around, throwing Aquaman and the trident away.  Then he turns back around and punches Batman through the atrium wall with a sonic blast.

Suddenly, Nemo's spear punches through Adaptroid's core.  Adaptroid glances down at it, then pulls the spear out through his body and turns around. The hole repairs itself before Nemo's eyes. Then Adaptroid uses the boy's own spear to hit Nemo away before snapping it in half.

Batman stood up and cracked his neck. "So you have to have a big robot sucker punch me? Can't fight me by yourself girl?"

Orin grunted and got up calling his trident back before unleashing a powerful blast sending Adaptroid through the room and crashing through the throne.

"I didn't tell him to do that. But I guess it helps to have the body of his sweet little 'mother' dearest," Deadeye says.

Adaptroid picks himself up and turns around, facing Aquaman.

Batman narrowed his eyes. "You have her body but you fight sloppily, too much of a brawler relying on your suit and flight abilities." He said walking towards her. "No refined fighting style, nothing more than girl with some toys."

Orin smirked. "Didn't like that did you?" He said blasting Adaptroid again.

Superman levitated in the air high above, watching the fight. Intently.

"Yeah, you keep thinkin' you're gonna trick me into fighting you close up, big guy. That'll totally happen," Deadeye says.


Adaptroid stands there and suddenly slams his fists together. A sphere of energy bursts up around him. When it disappears, he's gone. He appears behind Aquaman and holds a hand over him, shining down an intense orange light over him, causing him to begin dehydrating, and draining the moisture from his body.

"It might." Batman said pressing a button on his guantlet letting off and EMP that disabled her suit's electronics. "Won't last long, but then again I don't need long." He said rushing her and sliding low only to come up again with powerful uppercut to her stomach.

Orin rolled out of the way and grunted before blasting Adaptroid again. "Good thing I've been swimming most of the day otherwise that might have worked better."

Adaptroid staggers back for a moment, then lunges forward and locks Orin in a bear hug, with both arms clamped down to his side, squeezing tightly. He begins emitting the same light on Aquaman from his eyes. "Noted."

Deadeye lurches to the side and grabs Batman's arm, then wraps herself around him and throws all of her weight down to bring him to the floor before rolling to bend his arm in a way it really wasn't meant to bend. Then she springs up and flips onto her feet again. She pants for a bit, catching her breath. "Adaptroid. Status."

Adaptroid's eyes flash. "Atlantean forces crippled."

"And Superman?"

"In proximity."

Batman stood up behind her popping his arm back in place. He grabbed her in a head lock and tied her legs up slamming her down into the floor hard before punching her elbow hard shattering it, he then grabbed her by the nape of her neck and squeezed hard burying her face in the cold hard floor. "Tell Superman to come and pay us visit then, I'm just dying to see him."

Orin struggled trying to break free.

"Well, you're half right. But I've got a better idea. Screw you. Besides...you just told him."

When Adaptroid is finished with Aquaman, he turns and throws Aquaman at Batman, knocking him off of Deadeye. Then he scoops her up with one hand and aims his other hand, transforming it into a mortar and firing at Batman before he can get up.

Batman threw his hand up and energy field was projected from his gauntlet taking the blast. He stood up let his cape flow down over him. "Don't tell me you're giving up now Deadeye?"

Orin laid unconscious.

(still up for Star Wars?)

"No. But you weren't my target today. Next time, maybe. B'bye," she says.

Adaptroid slams his fists together and the two disappear as Deadeye waves, sneaking in a profane hand gesture towards Batman.


(Ah, crud. I totally forgot. Okay, gi'me a bit to find my character)

Batman simply looked up. "I know you're watching, you won't win." He said before walking over to Orin and kneeling down to pick up the Atlantean King.

Adaptroid and Deadeye appear back at Superman's fortress. Deadeye hops down, out of Adaptroid's arms and heads to the med facilities, wrapping her arm. She laughs to herself. "What the heck does he need with a med bay? Isn't he, like...invincible?"

Adaptroid stands in the doorway, then turns and leaves.


Khiva helps Nemo up and walks over to Batman and Orin. "The Healer's quarters aren't far from here. Just down the hall. What...what was that machine?"

Superman was in the med bay waiting for her.

Batman nodded carrying Orin to the healers. "It's called Adaptroid."

"Yes?" Deadeye says as she places a few more wraps around her elbow. "Huh. Guess that'll do."
