"This way." Batman said using his batclaw to zip over to another roof top.

Bat-Girl follows Batman.

Inside, the Hatters sits at a table, surrounded by cohorts all in various hats and masks, sipping his tea as a blonde young woman reads a book to the group.

Batman lands on the roof an moves towards a ventilation shaft.

Bat-Girl stands by the window.

"Alice, would you be a dear and read it again?" Thatch says.

"Of course, Mr. Milliner."

Batman looked to Bat-Girl and signaled for her to drop down the next vent.

Bat-Girl heads inside.

Thatch pours more tea as Alice begins reading the book over again.

Batman dropped down behind Thatch kicking his hat off and grabbing him by the collar before tossing him into the nearby wall.

"W-w-w-what in Wonderland is happening?!" Hatter squeals.

"Where is Emperor Penguin?" Batman said.

"I'll have you know that it is quite unacceptable! The last four letters of intrude spell 'Rude', you know!"

Bat-Girl stomps on Thatch's hat. "We don't have time for your mumbling, Hatter. Answer the question. Where is Emperor Penguin?" She goes around removing the hats and masks of Thatch's victims.

"I have no idea who that is!" Thatch says. "Don't touch those!"

Batman grabbed him and slammed him against the wall. "You sent an Alice to kill Vega tonight, I was there so don't play games with me Thatch! Tell me WHERE IS HE?!"

"Alice has been here, with me, the whole evening! Enjoying this delightful tea party that you've just ruined!" The Hatter instantly switches from frantic to giddy. "Teehee. Who's the Mad one, now?"

Batman growled and punched Thatch in the face. "Tell me or I'll tear every single one of your hats to shreds."

"I've already told you," Thatch says, calmly. "I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!"

Batman growled and narrowed his eyes. "Bat-Girl, get Alice. We're leaving."

"Hold up," Bat-Girl says. She walks over to Thatch and kneels to eye level with him. "Mister Milliner, it's me, Alice."

Thatch sizes Bat-Girl up, paying closer attention to the blonde hair and blue eyes. "Alice? What are you doing beneath that ridiculous bat mask?"

Bat-Girl glances up at Batman, then back to Thatch. "Mister Milliner, how did I get here?"

"You don't remember, my dear? You disappeared after one of my personal hats went missing and I was searching for it. I made a brand new hat and went out and found you in mean old Gotham. Honestly. Is everyone mad today but me?"

"Oh, of course. Thank you, Mister Milliner," Bat-Girl says.

Batman nodded and headed outside. Once Bat-Girl joined him he turned to her. "Good work, seems it's been Clue all along then."

Bat-Girl follows Batman out, taking Alice with her after knocking Thatch out. "I'll call for the GCPD and they can come pick him up and haul him back to Arkham. So one of his hats went missing."

"If Clue was infact hired by Emperor Penguin then he must have took it to throw us off the trail." Batman said.

"And that's where the trail runs out," Bat-Girl says. "No more leads, no more links...nothing."

"Something will turn up." Batman said. "Maybe not tonight but we'll find Clue and this Emperor Penguin."

"Right. I'm heading home. Going to talk with Derek about all this," Bat-Girl says, summoning her Bat-Cycle with the press of a button.

Batman nodded. "I'll join you, I need to speak with him anyways."

"Oh, sure. Race you there," Bat-Girl says, taking off.

Batman chuckled and called in the Batmobile before taking off after her.
