DC Universe- 2100

"Aye aye," Bat-Girl says with a bow of showmanship before running off behind everyone with a few batarangs in her hands hidden beneath her cape.

Further down the hall the silver like humanoids are seen in the distance on their way to the control room. They have the trademark symbol of Brainiac on their foreheads glowing bright green. They raise their hands up at the incoming cavalry as their palms open up into round holes. Immense energy blasts' fire out of their palms.

Superman flew at at them dodging and avoiding the blasts before firing his heat vision at one.

Batman leaps forward throwing explosive batarangs at the humanoids that almost seem to push them back and distract them, but don't make enough of an impact. Superman's heat vision seperates one of their arms and shoulders apart from their bodies but they keep firing.

Superman moved to the side and came at one delivering a punch at the robot's head.

Bat-Girl drops a smoke bomb as a few of them aim at her. When the smoke clears she is gone. Suddenly batarangs are forced into the weaker alloy at their joints and they lights up at the tips, exploding in a blaze of bright orange with flying pieces of silver metal. "Utility belt. Just as useful as a fancy magic ring...sometimes."

"If only as varied.", Batman agrees as he fires a hook line with a batarang that winds around three of the humanoid's legs. "They're surprisingly light...", he concludes as he trips them up and then pushes a button on his belt, sending a high voltage current that overloads something inside their heads, taking them out.

Manhunter flies ahead and phases through the blasts and two enemies, turning around and phasing through their heads, crushing their main circuits.

"Guess the mentality is that they don't need to be too tough if there are a crap ton of em," Bat-Girl says. She looks over her shoulder as one of them steps on an exploding gel trap she'd set. Then, when it tries to get free, she steps away and detonates it. "Avoiding the obvious 'Stepped in something' gag. How many more of these jokers are there?"

"There are several more coming from behind.", Manhunter says. "We need some sort of obstacle-"

"I got it. Get moving to the control room. The powerhouses can clear the rest on the way.", Batman says as he reaches down for his belt before throwing numerous pods on the floor and walls. The pods explode and expand into a foam like substance that harden and create a thick wall, shielding them off from the incoming army.

"It has the density of steel. We'll be fine for now."

Superman nodded. "Good work. I'll lead the way, clean up the survivors. There won't be many." He said before taking off down the hall in a red/blue blur smashing through the robots and melting others with his heat vision, clearing the way for the others.

Batman rushed ahead following Superman.

"Such a show off" Morningstar said flying after him

"Someone wanna remind me why he needs us?" Bat-Girl says just as another red and blue blur speeds by. That blur was Wonder Woman flying by and body checking an overseer into the wall, crushing it to pieces. "Why either of them do?"

"To make them look good?"

"Team effort, people, come on.", Manhunter says as he flies ahead.

Superman dropped the last robot and looked back for the others

"Alright, last obstacle.", Manhunter says.

"Let's get through it."

Batman walks up and the large steel doors open.

"Well that was simple enough." Superman said following Batman

"Maybe a little too simple" Morningstar says

They enter a large room with rows of control panels leading up to a huge kind of container with green liquid inside of it.

Superman looked around. "What is that?"

"Not sure" Moningstar said walking towards it "but I'm going to take a closer look."

"I wouldn't do that. You don't know what might happen.", Manhunter says.

"It looks like the lazarus compound.", Batman observes.
