DC Universe- 2100

Super-Girl pouts and crosses her arms, looking off to the side. She knew that was the whole 'When you're ready' line in different words. But she couldn't help feeling that she was ready now. There weren't that many threats left in Metropolis to beat. "Okay."

Superman nodded. "Take pride in defending the city, you're helping people."

"I know," Super-Girl says, "...but what about Defending the World? Isn't that what we do?"

"It is, but right now what is threatening the world?" Superman asked, testing her.

"Politicians?" Super-Girl jokingly asks.

"Besides the obvious evils." Superman smiled.

"Nothing," Super-Girl admits.

Superman nodded. "If you say so. Come on let's go home, Metallo is handled."

"All right." Super-Girl then flies off with her father before pausing. "Dad, is the Justice League ever going to get back together?"

"Maybe one day." Superman said flying with her. "Wouldn't be a bad thing."

Lantern eventually returns to the others in the heat of the action and starts plowing through mechs. "You miss me boys and girls?" She says, forming a pair of enormous boxing gloves and using them to punch a mech out into the stratosphere.


Super-Girl then follows her father home.

Centurion chuckled firing at a mech. "Yeah, sure did!"

"What's the damage?" Lantern asks. "They letting up?"

"Not really, but we've held em." Centurion said. "These rebels are some hard fighters."

"Then let's thin 'em out!" She then creates a large hammer and swings it around like a bat, swatting mechs and soldiers aside.

"Sounds good to me." Centurion smiled beneath his mask and reloading as he charged into the battle using the opening Lantern created to move into the Markovian ranks firing at troops and mechs alike.

"Incoming!" Lantern says, projecting a bulldozer to plow mechs toward Centurion.

Centurion watched as the mechs were simply scooped up and tossed around like toys. "Jesus..." He said before firing at some Markovian infantrymen.

"I see things are already getting taken care of", Batman says as he glides down, knocking a couple of soldiers out with a dropkick.

"Not sure how many there are," Lantern states.

"A few." Centurion said nodding at Batman.

Bat-Girl stands there in the alley, staring down at the chalk outline of two bodies. Everything...all of it seemed familiar to her. The sense of loneliness, the sensation of vengeful desire...the feeling of nearby danger...

She suddenly ducks, evading a gunshot intended to miss. "Twinkle, Twinkle Little BAT...how I wonder What You're At..."

"Clue," Bat-Girl says to the psychopath, narrowing her eyes.

"I'm full of surprises, kid. So where might I find your daddy?"

Bat-Girl then wraps her cape around herself, suddenly throwing a batarang at Clue's gun, causing it to backfire. She then jumps up onto a fire escape and climbs it up to a rooftop, running off. "Bat-Girl to Batman. Clue's on my case. I can handle him but just to let you know, he got out of Arkham...again...oh yeah, and some old guy's at the tower. Said he wanted to talk to you when you got back in. Looks like he's from South America."


Lantern wraps a group of mechs in a bubble and hurls said bubble into space before landing on top of a soldier that dared pull a gun on Batman, hoping to surprise him. "I know, I know. You would've gotten him. Still...these guys are hitting us with some serious tactics. It's like they're computers or something."

"Seems that way." Centurion said as he moved up through the battlefield.

Batman throws a batarang connected to a thick steel wire, wrapping around the wrist of the soldier behind Lantern. He pulls the man down and knocks him out with a boot to the head. "Try to keep tabs on him. We're cleaning up over here right now", he says into the intercom.

Bat-Girl stops in an alley and takes cover around a corner as Clue enters, holding up his weapon. "Heeere Batty Batty Batty."

Bat-Girl suddenly leaps out from around the corner and throws three Batarangs that Clue shoots down just in time for Bat-Girl to get away with her bat claw, hoisting herself back up to the rooftops. She then presses a button on her glove and jumps, gliding into the window of an abandoned building. Rolling to a stop, she hears Clue enter in the distance. The entire building was only one large room with windows and several pieces of construction equipment that she uses to take cover behind.

In a matter of minutes, the tides have turned. Clue stands over Bat-Girl with a gun to her face. "I'd like to know something, Mini-Bat. Where DOES daddy keep his toys?"

Bat-Girl says nothing. Suddenly though, she flips backwards, kicking the weapon from his hand as her bike suddenly roars into the building, turning around and slamming into Clue before Bat-Girl can get on, racing away. "Bat-Girl to Batman. I got a tracer on him. How are things on your end?"
