Gotham City- 2100

"Through the grape vine. A new Joker Type villain running amok in the criminal underworld, several high class individuals being picked off, and something about a mysterious Bat-Woman being seen in East Gotham. If I were you, I'd worry about these assassinations first though."

Her last detail peaked his interest. "Good point."

Cat-Woman then tilts her head. "Careful. The cat isn't the only thing curiosity killed. Lucky us, we have 9 lives. See you later."

Delilah sat in the back of her limo as she headed home. "I should've gone with the nerve gas instead of the sleeping gas."


"Get us that meeting and call me" Frank told his CI hearign the call over his radio. He took off turning on his lights and speeding down the street.

Batman looks at her. "I hope so", he says before gliding off the rooftop.

Cat-Woman then turns and leaves as Batman glides away.

"...Damn it.", Batman growls and lands on another rooftop. He waits a second before calling Brass once more.

Brass lands in an alley and answers. "Yes, tiger? Gee, miss me already?"

He takes a deep breath and exhales slowly through his nose. "Yes, actually."

"I'm fine, you know. I can handle myself pretty well."

"Oh, believe me, I know very well of how capable you are when it comes to... a lot of things.", he says with a short chuckle. "I just... forget it. I'll see you tomorrow, Brass."

(heading to bed)

Young Officer David Campbell took shelter behind the police car, knowing it wasn't the best cover in the world, but there was no where else to go. At least he had to find relief that most of them had directed their fighting back between each other, but that didn't mean that if he moved, they'd fire back his way. His partner though was between the car and the house, directly in the firing line... and he couldn't reach her to see if she was injured.

Batman flies above the rooftops and notices the firefight. He decides to scan the area and take down the thugs if possible.

(good idea shiney... then when Frank arrives he'll see the aftermath.)

"Bat-Girl, have you gone through any of the footage", Batman asks into his intercom before travelling through the dark to perform a takedown on the crooks.

"huh? Who is that?!" David wondered aloud, noticing a shadow in the early darkness. The gang also turned their direction towards the shadow of a person and it gave him a lucky opportunity to grab his partner.

Taking the only moment he dashed around the car and grabbed hold of the jacket pulling it dragging her to safety. It wasn't until he got a glimpse of her underneath the street lamp that he could see that she was beyond gone. He at least gave her dignity and wiped the blood from her face, placing her against the car, to avoid more harm.

(they're not really thugs... The police stumbled across a gang fight and unfortunately copped the bad end of it. I think I'll make them bikes as we have a tough battle going on in our northern suburbs with them. Constantly gearing about someone getting shot during a bikie argument.

Batman came down on two of the gang members and hit their heads together before throwing them at the others as distractions. It had only taken a few seconds to take them down before he disappeared again.

One of the gang members ran out onto the street and David used the underneath of the car to strike him down targeting his heels.

"there's still at least a dozen inside the house! Whoever you are!"

Batman turns his head as he hears David from the outside and starts to move upstairs. He climbs through a window and surprises a few other gang members inside the next floor by smashing through the window.

"what the fuck?! You motherfucker cant just wall through our frog door.. You have to be fucking invited! Shoot him down!" the bike leader yelled out.


(too painful.. Hope sleep calms it down, bit waiting to see doc to get the holder back kn place.)

Smoke began to rise up from the floor because of pellets that Batman had dropped. He moves quickly and unseen, disarming the leader's goons before coming up behind him.

"Batman, I'm just getting the footage fully reviewed. Delilah definitely had something to do with it. Possibly the leader. The gas didn't start to come up after she made a minor gesture."

Batman knocks the leader out and waits a second before replying. "Good work."

Frank pulled up to the scene seeing the carnage caused by the shoot out and the men all knocked out.
