"We'll make it better. One way or another."

"I know what we're fighting for. A Gotham that in the future, won't need Batman and Bat-Girl and the rest. Just hope I get to actually see that happen with my own eyes."

"So do I", Batman said. "So do I"

"What should we do for now?"

"Chase Delilah, but she must've gotten away"

"I'll head back to the cave if you want behind the scenes support."

"That's fine. We've got cameras around this place. Maybe you should check that footage, though."

"All right, I'll get right on that," Bat-Girl says, driving off on her bike.

"Thanks", Batman said and went back to investigate before finding Brass. He gave her a call.

Brass sits on a rooftop as Cat-Woman, having lost track of Delilah. She then answers her phone. "Hello?" She says, someone irritated in tone.

"It's me, are you alright?", he asks with a sigh.

"I'm all right. You okay?"

"I'm okay, although just as pissed as you are."

"Do you know what that was all about?"

"Have you heard about the latest murders outseas?"

"Yeah. Never thought it'd come to Gotham..."

Batman looked to the side seeing Catwoman away from him. "Neither did I"

Cat-Woman glances over her shoulder to see Batman not far away. "I have to be going now, tiger. Stay safe." She then hangs up and hides her phone in her suit, looking over the city skyline.

Batman lets out a sigh as she hangs up and hooklines himself over to Cat-Woman.

"To what do I owe the visit, Batman?" Cat-Woman says.

"I was hoping you had any information on the recent attack"

"I heard a commotion. But I didn't get here in time. The action was all over before I could get involved. How good for you though. I'm sure you don't need any distractions. My eyes are up here, by the way."

"Hm? I'm sorry, I wasn't looking there. Thinking deeply", Batman told her honestly. "I think this'll haunt us for a bit even though the attack was brief."

"I'm sure it will. But I don't think it's necessarily going to be an easy case. Of course, I've been hearing a ton of rumors lately."

Batman gives her a once over and arches an eyebrow. "Is that so?"
