Gotham City- 2100

"You're thinking about giving it to Lorelei."

"More than just thinking about it. She's the one who's taking this one on for me."

"And you're training her?"

"Of course I am...but first thing's first, I have to get up the nerve to tell her. Oh yeah. You're lucky you pulled an identity swap. I heard there's some sort of bounty on Red Robin's head."

"Bounty?... That figures. Only on RR?"

"Well...there...MIGHT be one on mine too."

There was an apparent grin showing on Batman's mask. "I see."

"I also heard a few criminals rambling about some 'freaks in red'. At first I thought it was you and so did the first guy but then the other one said that he saw two at once and both of them were girls."

"Two girls in red costumes? It's something to look into."

"More like Red Hoods," Bat-Girl adds.

"Moving targets. Shouldn't be too difficult to spot."; Batman said standing at the edge.

"Good luck. I'm still a bit fatigued. I should be going. But then again, you can handle it. After all," Angelica says, standing up. "You're Batman." She then leaps over the ledge and glides off.

"Hm.", Batman says gliding off the other direction.

Elsewhere a number of criminals seem to be preparing some sort of heist.

Batman scans the area thoroughly and finally drops down in an alleyway.

Batman throws paralyzing darts into most of the crooks.

In the back room, a man sits with his feet up on a desk as he hears the silence outside. He sees a shadow moving outside and grabs a shotgun. He then steps outside and puts it in the trunk oh his car, getting in. "That's it ya freak. Follow the birdie," he says as he peels out, driving off towards a nearby power plant.

Batman throws a marker onto the back of the truck before following it.

The guy gets out at the power plant and walks up to one of the transformers. "I know you're out there you rat with wings. Come on out."

"No need to yell.", Batman says behind the man, punching him in the nose, grabbing his shotgun.

The man then uses the momentum and winds back, sweeping at his legs before grabbing his shotgun and holding it to Batman. "They call me The Hit-Man. Wanna know why? I'll give you a Clue. Power. By the end of tonight, I'll hold all the power in the city. How's that? Easy. Fear. When I kill you, every criminal this side of Gotham is going to fear me. I'll OWN this city. How's it feel knowing you were such a great help there, huh?"

"You've heard several different tales about me. What's going to happen to the crook with the shotgun at the end of this?", Batman says, taking out a batarang behind his back.

"You're not fooling anyone. You aren't THE Batman, just some two-bit wannabe in tights and armor plating. Say hi to The Joker for me." He then pulls the trigger of the gun.

Batman throws the batarang in time and hits the man in the face, changing the direction of where the gun fires. He kicks Hit-Man in the chest.
