Gotham City- 2100

Seeing the police lights approaching from down the street, Cat-Woman uses her whip to swing up onto a fire escape. "What do you want anyway, tiger? I gave your precious ring back," she says as he pursues her.

Batman flies at her. "Not precious to me. I still don't know for sure whether you've taken something out of that museum.", he said stopping her. "Then again, maybe you're just inlove with memorabellia."

"You want me to prove that I haven't stolen anything? Sorry, tiger, but even I don't have that much time on my hands?"

"...Actually I'm stopping you because of something I want to know."

"Is that so? Well, what is it, tiger?" Cat-Woman says as she sits on a gargoyle, crossing her legs.

"What side are you on?"

Cat-Woman smiles and laughs to herself. "Isn't it obvious? Mine. What side are YOU on?"

Batman looks at her for a moment. "Gotham's", he said turning and jumping down a building.

Cat-Woman smiles then back-flips from the building and leaves.

Atop the police station, the commissioner stands over the same floodlight as before. He then looks up to the dark skies. "It's high time we let them know he was out there," he says. He then turns it on. In the dark Gotham skies, the famous bat insignia gleams, casting the message of The Dark Knight over her streets for all in Gotham to know he's out there.

"My first time seeing it with my own eyes.", Batman says behind him.

"I've seen it once or twice when I was a boy...so you are out there after all. Replacement?"

"In exchange of a bird, yes."

"I haven't heard anything from him or heard anything about the Bat-Girl recently...are they..."

"They're both doing well.", Batman assured him. He didn't want to give too much away. "At the moment we're... regrouping."

"...They did a good job with the Black Mask ordeal. Because they were able to bring him down, his thugs were acting without order. Chaos made it easier for our men to get them. Now that you're here...thank you."

"I'm sure they appreciate your thanks, Commissioner. I won't disappear."

The commissioner nods and goes back inside after shutting off the floodlight.

Batman flies off the rooftop.

(Might make a Slade and a Red Hood-type to be his apprentice instead of Terra)

Elsewhere, Bat-Girl(Angelica) is out for one more night, simply watching the city.

(Terra?)

"She's a nice kid.", Batman said landing next to her.

(She was more involved in Teen Titans stuff which is why I'm using Red Hood instead)

Angelica turns around. "Wha...Batman? Who...wait a minute...?"

(Alright)

"You should see your face right now...", Batman said calmly, with a little amusement behind his voice.

"Oh my god. I mean..I didn't think for a minute that you'd actually...oh my god."

"Hey, it was about time."

Bat-Girl sits down on the ledge of the building. "I guess that Goth girl was right. It was about time Bat-Girl died...at least this one."
