Gotham City- 2100

"Good," Angelica says. "Well I have a while left in my shift. May I take your order, sir?"

"Another milkshake, please", Derek said forcing back a burp, hiding his mouth against the sleeve of his jacket.

"You sure about that?" Angelica says, picking up the glass for a refill.

"Positive"; Derek smiled.

Angelica then shrugs and walks off with the glass, bringing it back a moment later, refilled. "Never seen someone getting drunk off a milk shake before," she jokes.

"Good one", Derek said downing it before giving her money for the drinks and for her tip. "See you later, Angelica"

"All right, see you later," she says as she watches him leave before directing her attention to another booth.

A man sat by a table alone waiting for service.

Angelica bent a bit once getting to his table, smiling with her clipboard in hand. "Hello, Sir, and Welcome to our keen little Diner. May I take your order?"

"Coffee, please. Black", Marko said putting his newspaper down. He looked at her, his eyes showing a slight red tint.

"Coming right up," Angelica says, dashing off to get it, bringing it back a moment later. "There you are. Would you like anything else, sir?"

Marko thought about bringing up the time he'd picked up the photo Angelica had dropped the other day and ask questions but decided against it. "Do you have pie?"

(heading to bed)

"Sure do, I'll have that to you quick fast and in a hurry," she responds, moving along to hand in the order.

Justin sat in his office studying his latest case file

Frank read over the coranors report sitting at his desk.

Marko watched her then wrote a few notes on his pad.

Angelica spins the small saucer on her finger before tossing it up, catching it, and setting it down on on the table in front of Marko. "Enjoy," she says before dashing to take another table's order.

"They where both shot but the bullets appear to have been removed" Frank said "A few organs were taken as well. The woman was missing her heart and the man was missing his reproductive organs. Not sure if there's any significance to that yet."

"Missing his reproductive organs...shit." Jack said sitting back.

Marko thanked her and watched Angelica walk away before writing down a few more notes.

Once her shift is over, Angelica heads to the back and reemerges in her own clothes before rummaging through her bag and leaving.

Marko left a minute later, heading down the street.

Angelica steps out of her apartment little over an hour later and decides skip the vigilantism this evening and leave it to Red Robin as she went off to see a movie.

Derek also by coincidence decided to let Bat-Girl and the others roam the night instead. He needed a break.

Marko stood by the street lookin' around up at rooftops. "Weird."

Hush, on the other hand, is far from calling it a night. After the lead she'd stumbled onto before, she was off to see Brass at Aerocorp.
