Yeah, Sovereign can work since he doesn't aim to kill anyone until his "Final Conflict" and intentionally keeps the enemies alive that he's aware he could wipe out at any given time.

Yeah and Zeitgeist will be happening relatively soon compared to Sovereign I think and I'd like to develop Joseph and Derek's friendship a lot more because I think they'd need to become like brothers for Derek to ask him to take on the cowl.

I think you're right, they need to develope a bit together.

True, maybe Derek asks Joseph but he declines saying "If you're not able to do it, then a Wayne should."

You could do the whole Battle for the Cowl (Or whatever it was) bit.

Here's an idea for it,

Sovereign puts Derek out of commission for a while after one of his first battles. Derek then asks Joseph to take on the cowl for him but Joseph refuses and points out there's someone better for it, Edgar. However word gets out that Batman is broken and someone puts on a Batsuit and starts killing criminals in cold blood (Like Jason Todd did in the BftC). Nightwing, Talon, and the Bat-Family all work together to take down the imposter Batman and Edgar takes the cowl from the imposter, literally. Then it's up to Shiney and Pryde who keeps the cowl, Derek or Edgar.

Just an rough outline, still would need to design the imposter.

Who takes the cowl depends on how permanent Derek's paralysis is. Edgar would gladly return it to Derek if he asked for it back. I can work out the imposter, who could turn into a villian for the Bat family, possibly Teen titans. Might work on a TT villian

I may have the perfect idea for that. Currently in Batman, or coming soon, they will be introducing Wrath, an anti Batman character. I'm thinking of using him

Well that's perfect! I've shamefully been not reading the new 52 but I'm picking it up slowly. Recently got Nightwing 1-20 to get up to speed a bit.

Definatly read the main bat titles. Green Lantern titles are good as well. I'm not a big fan of Superman so couldn't tell you about those. Teen Titans is decent so far. I'm a little torn with what they've done to Tim though, they've kept some parts of his orginal history in tact but not all and it's a bit confusing as to was he/wasn't he ever Batman's partner.

I've been pretty much ignoring New 52 aside from Bat-Girl and JLA. The direction of the thing just isn't quite my cup of tea. Actually I've been reading back a bit. I just read all 5 Avengers Assemble volumes recently and am starting to get into Stars & S.T.R.I.P.E. Nextwave is on my list as well. I might read New 52's Aquaman.

Yeah I'm gonna focus on the bat titles mainly, I've enjoyed Nightwing so far just dunno how I feel about the change to a red costume. I've heard Batman, Batman and Robin, and Batgirl have also been pretty good.

Aquaman is worth the read, probably one of the better titles in the New 52. There is really only a few titles that doesn't seem to have had anything changed to it and that's the Green Lantern comics. All the others seem to have been tweaked a bit in some way.

Yeah I noticed a few changes in the Nightwing issues for far.

I think I'll get the main Bat Titles and Teen Titans and maybe Justice League...damn that's gonna be a pretty penny.

Nextwave is a pretty great read. I don't follow DC or 52 much at all. Least of all 52.

I'll have to check that out, I'm reading New 52 mainly because Nightwing is my second favorite comic character.

Yeah, I'm pretty much only reading JLA because Star-Girl is in it. And Bat-Girl is a given.

Is there going to be any force that causes the Titans to band together for the first time?

How is Bat-Girl? I'm thinking about picking her, Batman, and Batman & Robin up.

I'm thinking maybe the Justice League just assembles them and then like in Young Justice they go off on their own to solve a case and wind up a little over their heads but manage to come out on top.
