Justice League

"I'll head to DC." Nightwing said over the comms. "Batman has Gotham and plenty of help."

"I'll pick you up on the way." Green Lantern said over the comms.

Sturm kicked the doors of the White House open and walked in putting down several more agents.

"I'm on New York.", Manhunter says.

"Status report.", Batman says to the other bats as he drives over a couple of cars, firing down a few drones as the Bat-Wings fly through the sky between the buildings of Gotham.

A drone stops and aims up firing a powerful blast up to knock the Bat Wings out of the sky.

Black Bat tackles the drone so it misses then leaps up as Angelica rams into it with the Bat-Cycle and slams it up against a car. "We're holding up. Teamwork and all that good stuff," Bat-Girl says.

A drone lands on Angelica from behind throwing her from the Batcycle.

Green Lantern flew in and picked up Nightwing before heading off D.C.

Kasumi dashes in and slices the drone's head off. Then she glances down at Bat-Girl before disappearing into the fray. "Ow," Bat-Girl says, picking herself up.

The Bat-Wing fires a down an electrically charged spear that pins one of the drones through his leg and proceeds to send out continuous EMP signals through the other incoming drones once Black Bat and Angelica are out of distance. 

"Good. Because I'm going after Zeitgeist.", Batman says as he uploads an unusual GPS map on his system. "Utilize the Bat-Wings if you need to." 

Red Tornado lands next to Bat-Girl and offers his hand. "Want me to initialize the Justice League Defence Drones?"


"Green Lantern and Nightwing, what is your status in DC? Do you require assistance", Manhunter asks.

Sturm stood in the Oval Office with the President on his knees, Secret Service Agents laying all around the room dead.

Zeitgeist walked into the room with several Drones and key members of the US Government.

"Mr. President, I have here your line of succession from the VP to the Secretary of Education...and the two other people with the United State's nuclear launch codes. You're going to give me those codes and you're going to have the US Military stand down. Would hate to cause to many casualties to what will become my 4th best fighting force."

"Just touched down." Nightwing said over the comms. "It's worse here than Gotham, drones everywhere and the White House is on fire."

"That'd be swell, Red," Bat-Girl says.


Up in the great unknown, Sovereign stands in the monitor room of his station, watching these events unfold.  He does not watch in amusement.  He does not watch in worry.  He watches out of curiosity.  Who will prevail?  Who is it that he'll end up fighting...and ultimately destroying, for this world.


In Metropolis, Super-Girl takes a hit in the back then angrily turns around and plows through the drones. "There is no way there's any rhyme or reason to this."

Batman races out of the city as he tries to get a good signal on Sturm from his location and the device he'd left on him from before.

Red Tornado nods and initiates the drones from the WatchTower, pouring down from the sky, alternating from being sent down by teleportation.

Nightwing walked onto the lawn of the White House seeing Sturm standing there waiting for him and Green Lantern with dozens of drones.

"Halt or be destroyed." 

"f**k off." Green Lantern said hitting Sturm with a blast. "I got this, go get the President."

Nightwing nodded and he rushed off taking down a few drones on his way inside.

"It's a power grab." Superman said. "Can you handle this? The President is in danger."

Orin sat watching the fighting before getting up to mobilize Atlantis.

"Yeah. You go do what Superman does," Super-Girl says.


Bat-Girl, Black Bat, and the drones hold down the fort in Gotham.

Superman nodded and flew off heading to DC to join the others.

(Didn't have a real plan for Batman to do, just something to make him hurry off and get intercepted by Vidar now when hell breaks loose, so I'm gonna have to wait for Pryde.)

As Super-Girl defends Metropolis, something unexpected happens. She's struck from behind again, this time tackled to the ground. However, the drone is pried off of her by none other than a Lexosuit. "This is MY city," Luthor says from inside the hulking suit.

Super-Girl gets up and then nods, turning and tearing into more drones.

(Sorry, lost track of what was going on here after they all got back from the time travel thing. What'd I miss.)

(Not much. The Zeitgeist stuff started. He's in D.C, holding the president hostage with Strum. Green Lantern and Nightwing have gone after him. Everyone else is basically defending their respective cities against onslaughts of drones. And, as you saw, Shiney is expecting Vidar to ambush Batman about now.)

(I noticed, just wasn't sure where.)

Hawk and Dove were in Star City fighting off the drones

Amazon flew above Coast City drawing the drones away from her home.

Morninstar joined the others in DC.

Nightwing moved into the White House making his way past Drones on his way to the Oval Office.

Green Lantern threw up a wall construct that was promptly shattered by Sturm's blast before Sturm flew up punching Green Lantern down into the ground hard.

Super-Girl floats over Metropolis. The drones are thinning out and Luthor is helping below, along with an assortment of villains, determined not to let this guy have their city.

Loud booms erupted within every major city as boom tubes opened up, more and more drones pouring out of them in and seemingly endless tide.

Boom tubes opened up near Atlantis as well, aquatic drones flooding out to attack. Orin stood on the bridge of one of the mighty Atlantean warships meeting the oncoming attack, having put his own forces on alert once the first attacks took place.

"And so the war is brought here," Nemo says, narrowing his eyes as he watches from a palace window.

Kiva stays in the palace and tends to the workforce, prepping the palace for possible siege.


Super-Girl sees the boom tubes open and narrows her eyes, ripping down into the hordes. Civilians were off the streets and safer now. But this was getting ridiculous. She hits the ground like a missile. Then, using her own unique abilities, she causes several drones to implode due to immense pressure buildup.


"Hya!" Wonder Woman shouts as she leads her Amazons into the assault against these foes.

"Fire." Orin said calmly as his warship and the many others in the proud Atlantean Fleet opened fired on the incoming drones. 

Sturm dropped Green Lantern to the ground before looking up as Superman came flying in at him, Sturm simply opened his chest cavity exposing a large chunk of synthetic kryptonite which once Superman got close enough caused him to the hit the ground hard, weakened. 

Zeitgeist looked over a large hologram of the Earth looking over the various battles being fought, weighing the losses on both sides. "Good, the US military has stood down, now it's just the Justice League to contend with."

Surrounded on all sides, Mercy projects a multicolor bubble around herself and Amazon as drones fire away. With all the different colors enhancing one another, the dome was stronger than any other construct. But she'd been holding it for a while now.


Super-Girl takes a kryponite ray to the face but she just turns to the drone that launched it and crushes its head between her bare hands. "Not Kryptonian," she says. She turns and punches a hole through another, crushes several more, but they begin to pile on, especially as a boom tube opens up directly over her.


The Amazons are pushed back in large numbers, but continue to fight. Wonder Woman still leads the charge, but is backed into a corner, deflecting shots taken at her with her bracelets. "This is Wonder Woman. My advances aren't working. There are too many of them," she says over communicator.

"Get in line, hon'," Mercy says through her comm.

Super-Girl explodes out from beneath the onslaught, her outfit shredded in many places. "They just keep coming," she says, flying up into the sky to collect herself.

"Nightwing here, I'm in the White House, making my way to Zeitgeist." Nightwing said coming up to the hall leading to the Oval Office. 

Another boom tube opens up over the cities as huge flying ships come through, deploying aircraft and more drones to the ground.

Deathstroke and Centurion were in Gotham fighting alongside what was left of the GCPD.

The Drones hit civilians and soldiers with powerful stun blasts as they only neutralized enemy forces, only engaging League members with lethal force. 

Green Lantern staggered up to his feet to face down Sturm, he hit the cyborg with a powerful hammer construct knocking him away from Superman. 

"That guy is a tough nut to crack..." Green Lantern said.

"You...said....it...." Superman said getting up slowly, weakened from the synthetic kryptonite. "Need to...disable that...."

"Got it." Green Lantern said before flying up and going at Sturm. He had to crack the chest piece and get rid of the kryptonite otherwise Superman would get killed.
