"This way" Jannelle said rushing out an exit to the outside


Keith walked over to Frank "You okay sir?"

"Yeah I'm fine...James always liked the fiesty ones..." Frank said rubbing the back of his head. "Just go and get James back here..."

James followed Jannelle as Marines moved into position to head them off.

Ashleigh reached into her pocket and pulled out a small pouch, breaking up the crystals and it went cold, "I'm always doing stuff to myself, and I was going to offer it to James. It'll stop any bruising."

"I won't need that." James said. "I get injured it won't be just a bruise."

"Shit" Jannelle said ducking behind a truck

Frank waved his hand. "I'm fine."

James grunted taking cover. "Well looks like we're both in deep shit now." He sighed.

"We'll get out of here" Jannelle said looking in the truck seeing the keys. "Get in"

"Yeah but they'll be coming for us both now, they saw your face." James said getting in.

"Gues that means my career is over" Jannelle said taking off for the gate.

"No it doesn't, I know a way for me to get my revenge and for everything else to work out too." James said.

Something slammed onto the top of the truck's roof.

"Well now that's either Arthur or Erica." James said looking up.

"Let's see if they can hold on then" Jannelle said starting to zigzag back and forth

"Just avoid that tank if you can." James said pointing at the Special Corps newest Main Battle Tank, a M5A2 Schwarzkopf. "Fucker looks like it'll trash a Abrams..."

"I'll try my best" Jannelle said

"Hopefully that thing doesn't shoot at us..." James said.

"Hopefully" Jannelle said still trying to get whoever was on top off heading to the gate

Arthur slid down the side, seeing them. "Hi", he said, smashing the window at James' seat.

James looked at Arthur. "Hey dumbass." He said pointing at the tank then he turned to Jannelle. "Better turn into something stronger than steel." He said jumping from the truck as the tank fired it's cannon at the truck.

Jannelle shifted to adamantium jumping out of the truck.

James grunted hitting the ground and rolling getting up to his knees.

Jannelle rolled to her feet and started running towards the tank

James got up seeing the machine gun on the turret start firing at Jannelle with it's anti-mutant rounds.

Jannelle dove for cover
