"Alright." James smiled. "Shower first though."

"Yeah, I should...shouldn't I? But that'll mean that I would have to go, or that he'd want to see me. Maybe I could tell him I'm a freak and scare him away?"

"Alright" Jannelle said "I'll get ready."


"No, don't do that" Keith said "You need some kind of normal life. We'll arrange for soemone to keep an eye on you when you leave."

James smiled. "I might have to join ya."

"Normal? Define normal... isn't that where you sit at home in the evening talking to your girls on the phone worrying about a pimple you can't get rid of before you go out to a party? I've lived that and it was a happy life, but it didn't last... I lost all my friends after my adoptive parents died. I've come to learn not to get close to anyone, especially not until I sort out this so called wanted dead or alive deal."

"And what is this offer?", Arthur asked.

"Well, a job. I want you to join up here, don't have to enter the Corps but I'd like you be a part of the Specials Corps." Frank said.

"I'll think about it.", Arthur said. "I'm in the middle of moving. Around."

Frank nodded. "Of course, if you decide to join us, you know where we are."

"Sure, thank you", Arthur nodded and stood up. "I'll consider it."

Frank nodded. "Alright."

"Although... I have to ask, what are the benifits?"

"Besides a considerable salary?" Frank asked.

"I'll give you guys a call", Arthur said leaving.

Frank nodded and lit a cigar heading to his office.

Arthur got a cab back and got out later, walking.

Erica sat back in her apartment tending her bruises.

"As close to normal as you can get" Keith said

"Joine me, I'm just getting dressed" Jannelle said

"Aww." James said going to get dressed.

Ashleigh headed down the hill and could see people and the course in the distance.

"Normal might happen at 60-ish, when I'm done with saving the world. Hey, its big..."

Jannelle giggled heading into her room changing quickly and coming back out.

"What'd you expect" Keith said smiling a bit.

"Something like what you'd find at a McDonalds playground," Ashleigh replied teasing.

James smiled a little getting some clothes on and heading out.

"If McDonald's playground were for adults that liked extreme sports" Keith said seeing a soldier dogging it "Hey! This ain't a walk through the park, get your ass moving trooper. My crippled grandmother can move faster than that."

"Well, you ready?" Jannelle asked

"Yup." James said.

"Oh, is your Grandma actually crippled?" Ashleigh asked.
