"Roger that," GL says.

"C'mon, happy," Ellie says as she and GL fly off with the clone.

Karie hugs her father. "I almost feel worse for you than for the clone. Mom is gonna KILL you."

Cole chuckled hugging her back. "Yeah she probably will."

Batman looks over at Superman and his daughter and smiles before heading back to the bunker.

Derek had watched the battle from the camers on the Watchtower to the news feed on Earth. His eyes are glued to the monitor with a sharp stare until he turns the feed off and rolls away from his desk. The lights in the room he's situated in turn off one by one as he heads toward the exit, one light lingering on a case with a suit of some sort before fading to black.

He wheels out of his room in the bunker and into the hall.

"Delivery!" Ellie says as she and GL fly into the bunker, carrying the clone.

Luthor observes with his hands folded behind his back.

Wonder Woman arrives shortly after. "The Justice League can meet and discuss future direction at a later time. Right now there is a world out there that needs a statement from Superman and cleaning up the mess that this thing made."

"When we can all afford the minute of breaking time, drinks are on me," Bat-Girl says.

Batman walked over to Derek. "How are you?"

Superman nodded. "I'll make a statement after I've seen my wife."

Derek glances up at Batman before glaring over at Superman and the others from afar. "Peachy.", he says and then looks up again. "Congratulations, Joseph. You should head over and celebrate with the others."

Joseph puts his hand on Derek's shoulder. "I'm with you Derek."

Derek looks down then turns the wheelchair around. "I'm grateful for that, but where I go I'm not sure anyone else will be safe. Not even myself.", he says and heads down the hall. "Take it easy with the brewskies, alright?", he says and disappears around the corner.

Joseph sighed watching Derek leave. He turned around and headed into the main room where the others were.

Wonder Woman nods and walks off into the bunker.

Luthor stands in themed bay, where they've taken the clone.  "Adaptroid, check for any anomalous cellular change," he says.

"Detected: Subject displays signs of rapid cellular destabilization."

"Hmph. I assume this has been happening for some time?"

"Biological Readings suggest that the condition has been enduring and escalating in severity for a minimum of two weeks," Adaptroid says.

Doctor Mid-Nite walks into the Med Bay and pauses.  "Luthor? What are you still doing here?"  He glances up and sees Adaptroid, then stands on his guard.  "Step away from the machine."

"Relax yourself, Doctor.  I haven't tampered with this machine in the slightest.  I'm only analyzing the clone."


In the main lobby, Bat-Girl sits with most of the other League members.  "I think after this I'm gonna take a break," she says.

"I hear that," Dr. Light agrees, raising a glass.  "The Justice League doesn't need to be an army anyway."

"We just have to pick up the pieces Phonyman left behind.  Our old 'friends' who sided with him. Condolence letters might be in order, too," Captain Marvel says.

Batman walked into the Medbay. "That may explain why he went off the rocker."

Flash nodded sitting at the table. "Going to have to get in touch with governments too you know they'll want to poke and prod us for intel."

A few extra JLA cards sit on the table in front of Wonder Woman, who sits in her seat in the chair room and stares at them with her hands folded.

"What're you doin' in here, all by your lonesome?" Green Lantern asks, standing in the doorway.

"These are the cards of those who've decided to fill reserve roles or resign from the League altogether," Wonder Woman says, pointing at the stack of cards to the left.  "The rest are those who wish to stay on or we haven't heard from them. Batman included."

Batman walked into the room. "Who all is leaving and staying?"

"As long as you have Superman and Wonder Women the rest of your roster shouldn't matter" 8Ball said coming up behind him. "Don't worry, I'm just here to offer my assistance which with the way you've all handled recent crisis may be little too late."

"I don't intend to go anywhere," Wonder Woman says. "Zita and Dr. Light are leaving. Doctor Mid-Night has offered to stay on as reserve. No Captain Marvel or Mary. Bat-Girl's decided to leave as well and stick to Gotham. Though she did offer to help whenever needed. And Green Lantern is here to place her card in the resigning pile."

"Wha- how did-?"

"It's in your voice," Wonder Woman says. "It is all right. I don't blame you. I've heard nothing from The Flash, Aquaman, or Captain Atom. Superman, I pray, is a given."

"Oh I'm in." Flash said from the doorway.

"I will remain in the League as well." Aquaman said walking up. "Atlantis still plans to join the UN."

Batman nodded. "I'm in and I'll ask Superman what he plans to do."

"Good news all around, I guess," Zita says, appearing on the table with her head supported on her hands. "You'd miss me and you know it."

"Right, well...I also haven't heard from the Martian Manhunter," Wonder Woman says. "And there is still one outstanding issue. Luthor is still lurking around the bunker somewhere and Adaptroid is also still here."

"I reckon we should do somethin' about that," Green Lantern suggests.

"Luthor claims to have something he wishes to show the Justice League," Wonder Woman says. "And I have a sneaking suspicion he means Superman, Batman, and myself."

"Then let's go see what he has." Batman said.

"He's with Dr. Light and Doctor Mid-Nite in med bay, still analyzing the clone," Wonder Woman says. "We should get Superman and go see him."

Batman nodded and headed out to the observation deck, he knew Superman would be there thinking.

Wonder Woman follows Batman to the Observation Deck

Batman walked in. "Luthor wants to meet with us."

Superman looked back at them and nodded. "Alright, any idea what about?"

"Not a clue," Wonder Woman says.  "He just wishes to speak with the chair members of the Justice League.  He's in the med bay with the clone."

8Ball sighed shaking his head "No wonder this league is a failure. They ignore the simple and obvious. Guess I'll just start my own heroe society."
