Batman grapples to the ceiling, the speed taking him out of course from Lorie, sending him tumbling across to the control panel instead. "There's nothing just about you. Not anymore."

"Why? Because I'll do what's needed? You let the monsters stay alive so they can just get free again and keep killing, it's a never ending cycle with you all. I'm breaking that cycle! I will bring peace and order to this world plagued with anarchy!"  Superman said

"I won't let you act as an executioner in this.", Batman says and gets up slowly, pressing the palm of his hand against the dashboard, the room soon turning red.

Superman laughed. "You think I didn't think you'd all try Red Sun Radiation and Synthetic Kryptonite? My suit resists such things." His eyes flashed red. "Now let's see how long you all last."

"Yes, lets do that!", Manhunter disguised as the president says and puts his hands out from behind Superman towards his head, launching a successful mind attack. Manhunter suddenly jerks back after a blowback of images starts to flood his head, his guise disrupting and shapeshifting him back.

Superman staggered before turning and punching Manhunter.

Manhunter gets sent flying into the cave wall as Batman pulls out a smaller injection gun filled with synthetic kryptonite. Maybe he couldn't pierce the suit, but that there are other exposed areas that he could attack. He rushes and gets close to Superman, the gun raised in the air. It was no or never.

Superman spins and with his close fist back hands Batman in the jaw sending the Dark Knight flying with a audible crack.

Black Bat tackles Bat-Girl out of the way of some falling debris. Bat-Girl gets up and turns around, beginning to work on digging her out from beneath the concrete, beams, and rocks. "Please let her suit be tough enough to survive that," Angelica says, tossing aside rocks and trying to lift the beams.


Wonder Woman starts to pick herself up, rubbing her head.

Batman collides with his back into a stalagtite that breaks upon impact, crashing down onto one of the control panels at the same time Derek lands, his near lifeless body rolling across the floor before coming to a stop.

Superman turns his attention to Wonder Woman, walking towards her. "It could have gone so much smoother with you two by my side." He said clenching his fists. "I didn't want to have to kill you."

Wonder Woman glares up at Superman, then takes notice of Angelica, trying to free Lorie. "Manhunter! Deal with him!" Then she turns and dashes to help, lifting the beam and letting Angelica pull the unconscious girl out.

Manhunter flies into Superman suddenly, the two of them rocketing down into the dark caves below.

Angelica sets Lorie down in a safe place, then rushes to Batman. "Derek! Derek, are you all right? Come on, stay with me."

Superman grunted and grabbed Manhunter by the sides of his head blasting him with heat vision.

Derek was out cold and couldn't respond, but he was still breathing, if barely.

Manhunter shapeshifted so that the heat vision mostly blasted past him but scarred the Martian as they both flew down into the caves. Having his true martian appearance, he grabs the side of Superman's head in return and sends another mind attack in an attempt to incapacitate before letting the Man of Steel fall down into the flowing water beneath them, leading to the outside.
