DC Universe- 2100

Red Hawk came up alongside Talon, ready to continue the fight if needed.

"Oh well that's just odd" Cumbustion shrugged "And now I'm getting bored, it's been fun sparring with you. Maybe I'll see you around."

"Not just going to let you leave." Red Hawk said.

Cumbustion sighed "Don't make me kill you. There's no thrill in it."

"You won't kill me." Red Hawk said.

"If you let me go I won't" Cumbustion said "but if you insist on boring me then killing you will be a snap." He snapped his fingers causing an explosion at their feet as if to emphasize his point

Red Hawk didn't flinch. "You won't kill us, because you won't be able to."

"And whose going to stop me?" Cumbustion asked "Your not fast enough."

Red Hawk smiled. "Says you."

"I don't have time for this" Cumbustion said turning and jumping off the roof

Red Hawk looked at Talon. "Just gonna let him go?"

"For now" Talon said

Red Hawk grunted."Next time I'm kicking his ass."

"I'm sure you will" Talon said "Come on, I thin there's something going on over at Amusement Park. I'm sure Batman could use a hand."

Batman dashes towards Clue and immediately meets him with a series of overwhelming punches.

Clue parries each blow in succession then punches him directly at the center of his rib cage, forcing him bad.

Batman's enhanced suit protects him mostly from the blow and has him come right back at Clue again with a randomized pattern of punches and kicks.

Clue stands his ground, parrying a few hits and allowing others to strike him.  He laughed at the futile effort to beat him into submission.  When it seems like Batman gets a good hit, Clue uses the momentum and comes back with a punch to throw him off his feet.

Batman however sees this coming and counters the blow by making use of the extra momentum to force a sudden closeline to Clue's throat, sending him flying into the pavement.

Without even a moment of pause, Clue flings himself back up onto his feet and brings a right cross toward Batman's jaw before switching up with a left jab to his abdomen.

Batman moves back and lets Clue's punch go past, hammering his fist down against the maniac's wrist before shoulder checking him, forcing him back.

Clue skids back a little then mirror's that shoulder check, forcing Batman back but farther.  Then he laughs and unsheathes his sword.  "Pin the sword through the Batman, anyone?"

"That was aweful.", Batman remarks with a deadpan expression.

"Oh, don't be like that, Bats.  Would ya really rather me or the Joker?"  Clue says, taking a slash at Batman.

Batman deflects his slash with the claws on his glove and kicks Clue back considerably. "You're just taking from his material.", he says, trying to get a rise out of Clue.
