Centurion nodded. "Will do."

John sat down. "Just another man called to the Corps." He said. "How about you?"

"Well, I used to be Bat-Girl. Other than that? No, nothing. So you know how to fly this bird?"

"Well that was exciting" Morningstar said


"It appears that I am the victor of this little game of assassins" Delilah smiled sipping her wine in her office "though I wonder who really benefits from all this?"

"Indeed I do." John said starting the ship.

Centurion nodded. "Sure was." He said. "Got use some of my more experimental ammunition."

"Have you had any experience with Yellow Lanterns before now?"

"And I got a chance to test out a few things as well."

"More than I'd like." John said.

Centurion nodded. "Yeah, well I'm gonna head back and get myself a little R&R."

"They called you the greatest Green Lantern since the first human one. There any truth behind that or are they just boosting your ego a bit for this?"

"We deserve it"

Batman meanwhile had left Morningstar and Centurion to deal with Clue. "Bat-Girl what's your status?"

"He almost got a tracker on ME. I got one on him but I'll have to get back to the cave to pinpoint his location."

"I just do what needs to be done." John said. "If people call me great so be it but I don't do this for an ego boost."

"Good," Angelica says. "Something I can admire."

John nodded. "This isn't a job someone gets into for themselves."

Angelica looks away. "Well...not all of us, anyway." She then sits down in the co-pilot seat and looks to the passing stars.

"So where are you from?" John asked, making small talk.

"Gotham," Angelica says. "Told you. I was Bat-Girl a while ago. That's how I know Batman. You?"

"Milwaukee." John said.

"What'd you do before-"

Suddenly the ship's alert system goes off. "What now?" A face appears on the screen of the ship. It was the alien they were looking for. "Oh...well how convenient."

"This sector of the galaxy is off limits to all Lantern Corps but Yellow. All Green Lanterns here are to be imprisoned. State your name and business...Or turn around before this gets unpleasant for all of us."

John smirked. "Sorry but this Green Lantern doesn't take kindly to threats."

The yellow lantern's face turns devious. "Then call it a promise, Green Lantern. A promise that from here on, things will be getting much more difficult."

"Nearing Iahkan," Angelica says. "First planet in the system he got his hands on. The Queen is a Green Lantern and she's heading a resistance with royal elite guard and various citizens." She had been reading from the monitor. "Enemy ships barricading the place."

"Then let's get in there." John said cutting the Yellow Lantern off.

Lantern nods and grabs a power battery, setting it down in the seat beside Green Lantern. "You might want to charge up. My ring is its own battery. I just have to say my oath anywhere and I'm good. Should we take the ship into this or head down there without it?"

"Leave it." John said charging his ring. "We'll move better on our own."

Lantern then nods and follows GL out into space, flying off toward the enemy barricade. "Enemy Yellow Energy Cannons, 12-o-Clock!" Lantern warns.
