"I don't know what to do, I can't keep this up. I only just managed to make it safely here last night," DT replied.

"I'm just your lawyer" Justin said packing the files up in his briefcase "you want protection, hire security."

"Clever", Red Robin grumbled fending off the clones as he looked around for the real Ivan.

Ivan steps into another room as the clones begin to thin out.

Red Robin throws down a flashbang, activating visors that protect him as he heads after Ivan.

Ivan stands in the middle of the empty room, his back to the entrance. "You're quite the entertaining one, you know that? More than I though you'd be. Fine," he says, spinning the cane. The souls he'd taken suddenly begin to all flood out and make their way back to their owners. "Don't really need them anyway. I have enough freaks in the show...but maybe I can make room for one more."

"I have a busy schedule; I can't make time for carnival tricks."

"Ya know what? I promised him I'd get rid of you but now I think I'll keep you around. You given quite the display tonight...and like they say...The Show Must Go On. Until next time, bird boy." Card steps back and the tents all turn into smoke, dropping down to his feet and taking the form of his shadow. The circus freaks fighting Marko all cease and gather around Card. Then, in a smoke explosion, all of them disappear.

Angelica gets out of bed, still in pain somewhat but she insists on getting some exercise. She then grabs her things and sneaks out of the hospital, having decided to head home.

"That was... anti climactic.", Red Robin says to himself, although he was happy that everyone got their souls back.

"You can ask someone else to go next time, Derek", Marko said beside him.

"Hah..."

Later, Derek gets a call from the the hospital.

He answers. "Yes?"

Derek is told over the phone that Angelica had gone missing. There were no signs of a struggle so it was likely that she left on her own.

"...Thanks.", he said before hanging up. He grapples onto a nearby building and heads out to look for Angelica.

Angelica had managed to make her way to a gym, barraging a punching bag, having dislodged two others. Once she's through, she sits on a mat in the center of the room and stretches, trying to get over the back in her back and on her ankle.

"Not quite aerobics", Derek says from the entrance.

Angelica sighs. "Amen to that. I have to just get over this pain is all. Work through it."

"...Do you remember who attacked you?"

Angelica doesn't respond for a moment. "It was a group of random thugs just outside of Crime Alley."

"You're saying a girl who can dislodge punching bags as easy as that got beaten up by some small thugs?"

"I guess they caught me off guard. There were a lot of them too, I suppose. You don't tend to think about things like that very often when you're being jumped."

"What were you doing in Crime Alley?"

"I was taking some pictures. Eventually they'll get theirs anyway with all these heroes running around. Help me up, would ya?"

"Taking pictures in the middle of the night?", Derek said pulling her up.

"I was late on a deadline. Figured I could do something with the flash. Thank you. I should be going home now...I have some things to do tomorrow night I should get ready for."

"Might I ask what?"
