Bee wobbled as she got up and headed for the finish seeing the vines wrap around Kid

"Oh no ya don't," Kid says, using a free hand to fire 'shooting stars' at Bumblebee's wings. Then she yanks herself free and swings on.

Bee lurched forward turning to face her "Now who's not playing fair" Bee says firing her own bio electric shocks at Kid

"Do unto others and you have them do unto you, yadda yadda yadda," Kid says, as she leaps over the blast and makes a dash for the finish line, firing more shooting stars at Bee.

Bee weaved through the stars firing blasts at her trying to stop her from finishing ahead of her

Kid suddenly thinks of something then winks and sticks her tongue out at Bees as she star blasts the ground just in front of herself, rocketing her across the finish line.

"Damn" Bee sighes crossing through the cloud of dust.

"Congratulations" Master of Games said appering before them "You have emerged the victor and proven yourself worthy to move on to the next round."

"If Pat could see me now," Kid says.


Wonder-Girl stands in her spot and used her bracers to deflect the arrows shot at her by the Amazon statues. This time it'd been three arrows. She was already doing better than normal.

Master took both of them from the arena but only Kid stood with others that had already won their match in the main hall.


Garth made his way to the other end of the pool after defeating the creature that attacked him. He glanced back seeing Static struggling and turned around speeding towards him firing force blasts at the monster attacking Static forcing it to release him. He fired several more blasts forcing the monster to retreat as he got over to Static. The two came up to the surface floating in the water
"Are you alright?"
"Yeah" Static said "you could've won."
"Winning this race is not worth the life of anyone, even a surface dweller like you" Garth said
"I'm going to take that as a compliment" Static said "So, shall we finish?"
Garth smiled "I'll give you a head start to make it fair."
"Okay" Static said swimming towards the other side "but you're going to regret it" Static shouted back.
Garth waited a little longer before ducking back beneath the surface and taking off like a torpedo towards the end popping up right in front of Static finishing ahead of him.

Kara and Tula both appeared back in the main hall, the winners of their bouts. Tula however look a bit disappointed, and it could be seen with her clothes now dry that she hadn't had the luck of a water challenge. Kara on the other hand looked quite pleased and stretched herself, looking like she had just taken a challenge of athletic style.

"Tula" Garth said spotting her "you made it."

Wonder-Girl appears next. There was a cut on her arm from where it seemed an arrow had grazed her but she'd apparently won out, having been the last standing.

"As with a lot of people they think a kid can't possibly lift something big," Tula answered with a smile.

"A normal kid, no" Garth smiled "but an Atlantean, that is a little different."

Wonder-Girl had noticed that her lasso would be present during competitions then disappear whenever the master was around. How convenient for him...

"Well Garth... I didn't get time to say 'I'm Princess Tula, Atlantean and I'm going to kick your butt'."

"Yes, I know who you are" Garth smiled "King Arthur is my father."

"So when's the next round?" Kid says.

Wonder-Girl floats over to the Master. "Excuse me. May I ask you a question?"

"The next round begins when all victors have arrived" Master said "what is your question child?"

"Why does my lasso of truth disappear when I am not in the middle of your challenges?" Wonder-Girl asks.

"A simple rule to ensure that none of the combatants feel implied to use them in some manner against their fellow competitors outside of the challenges" Master said

Tula chuckled and headed over to his side, "I bet his waiting to put me in a pool when it comes up to you and I. I'll do you a favour Garth... I'll lose."

"Then why do I still have my belt?" Kid asks, raising her hand. "Heck, why do anyone's powers still work? I'm no math brainiac but something doesn't add up about that. She's totally got a point."

"Have you tried using your powers?" Master asked "Go ahead, strike me with your star bolts if you can. You will find that it is hopeless, that your powers are neutralized in this room."


"Do not do that" Garth said "if we meet in competition do not hold back."

Kid points at Wonder-Girl. "She's floating. Or does flying not count as a power? Besides, the belt is where the shooting stars come from. You took her magic rope so why didn't you take the-"

(I'll just let Kid be cut off by the rest of the competitors returning from their challenges.)
