DC Universe- 2100

Super-Girl stops and hovers over the fight, arriving after Superman and the Flash. "Hi," she says.

"Hey there," Black Bat says as she lands on the nearest rooftop.

"So you're this Deathstroke guy I've heard SO much about," Bat-Girl says as she arrives...last as expected.

"And this party just got way too crowded." Deathstroke said taking out his Super Bomb. "See ya around." He said detonating it, the bomb incapacitating the entire group of heroes allowing him to escape.

Talon leapt up into the air with Batman avoiding the shockwave.

"Is that, like, a running theme in this city? People with flash bombs?" Super-Girl says as she snaps out of it.

Superman blinked and looked around. "What do you expect? He knew he couldn't win."

"They ever win." The Flash said. "But yeah...that's getting annoying."

Vidar had been watching through his scope, he had hoped to get a clear shot at Batman but never got his shot. He turned away when he saw the flash and looked back through his scope when his vision cleared. He had a shot, but with the Supers there it wouldn't hit. He packed up his rifle leaving "You live another day, but your day will come."

(Deathstroke escaped once Superman, Super-Girl, The Flash, Bat-Girl, and Black Bat arrived)

"Thanks for the assist but we had it under control" Talon said looking around at the other heroes.

"Uh-huh. Right," Bat-Girl says. "Anyway, Superman, I can have this analyzed in a-". She pauses and glances at the Flash. "Heartbeat."

Talon shook his head leaving Batman to talk with rest of the League before they asked him to join. Being part of a team just wasn't for him, not yet at least.

Batman notices Talon leaving but doesn't say anything about it. He turns to the others and glances over at Flash arching an eyebrow before glancing at the sample. "Is that synthetic kryptonite?"

"Yes it is." Superman said handing it to Batman. "Someone made an army of robots made out of it."

Nightwing was in his loft wrapping up his ribs when his personal phone rang. He picked up.
"Hello?"
"Joseph, hey it's Elizabeth."
"Oh hey what's up?"
"Well I'll be in town in two days, got a business meeting. I wanted to see if you wanted to have dinner?"
"Sounds good to me. What's the business meeting?"
"Well I'm buying Amusement Mile, and Haly's is coming back into town next week."
"Oh nice, big plans huh?"
"Yeah, I also have something I want to talk to you about in person."
"Oh okay, well I'll pick you up from the airport."
"Sounds good, my flight lands at 10AM."

"An entire army of it? Someone must really have it out for you two," Black Bat says.

"I found it in an Intergang warehouse."

"A lot of people have it out for me." Superman said.

"True, but only so many of them would have access to THAT MUCH of the stuff," Bat-Girl says as she contemplates the point of origin.

"Agreed." Superman said.

"Should run it through the Watchtower computers. If there's a real possibility that Batman is being watched by a war monger, then I don't think the Bat Cave is the best place to run it."

"I will bet you money Luthor is involved," Super-Girl remarks.

"Maybe. But if he isn't and you go after him, you'll have ANOTHER problem on your hands."

"We can't just jump to conclusions. Let's run it through the Watchtower, seems like Batman has plenty of heat on him now." Superman said.

Bat-Girl takes the sample. "Star-Girl, this is Bat-Girl. Bring me up."

Super-Girl floats up. "I'll go back to that base and see if I can find anything else." Then she flies off.

"I'm returning to the cave. I have to relocate, but that won't be a problem."

Talon made his way back to the tower.

Nightwing was getting patched up at his loft.

Red Hawk was at his hideaway restocking his gear.

Superman was beamed to the Watchtower with Bat-Girl.

Bat-Girl runs the sample through the Watchtower database. The computer tracks the Kryptonite back to Cadmus. "Well, that only makes perfect sense. Cadmus is the original creator of synthetic Kryptonite. Though they claimed to have stopped manufacturing it ages ago when it was made illegal. By then their little recipe for evil was already out there. Other companies started getting shut down for producing the stuff. There's no way to smuggle the stuff so it must be getting made here and I bet it's pretty close to Metropolis if not in the city itself. Makes transfer a lot less suspicious. The local Cadmus lab is run by a Jasper Lynch. What a coincidence. I'll do a search on the guy while you investigate Cadmus, if you want," she says to Superman.


Black Bat flies off with Batman.

Superman nodded. "I'll look into Cadmus. Keep me posted." He said heading to the teleporter.

Jasper sits at his desk, reading through several folders of paperwork and sighing loudly.
