Batman blocks his next blow and moves back.

Saiko kept the pressure on coming at Batman again slashing at Batman's stomach.

Batman moves back once again, the claws barely grazing his stomach and he counters by Saiko's arm and punching him in the chest.

Saiko took the punch and grunted and used Batman's close proximity to deliver a elbow strike to the Dark Knight's jaw.

The Dark stumbles back from the blow and puts his guard up.

Saiko took a stance readying him for the next round.

Clue sits and stares at the monitor. "I don't see any of these meatheads's lights going out. Batsy must be in a doozy of a brawl about now with one of the boys after him. Oh, how I'd pay to see that. But any longer and this is bound to get boring. I wanna see those lights going out! Deathy-boy, do me a favor and send some of the brainless ones over there, would ya? Until Bats arrives, those lights going out are the only form of entertainment I've got around here."

"You still owe me ten bucks." Deathstroke said ordering some men to intervene with Batman and Saiko's fight.

Batman prepares to make another move but hears running steps coming closer to their position.

Saiko keeps his gaze on Batman. "Seems others wish to interfere. We will conclude this fight another time Detective." Saiko said before throwing a smoke pellet and disappearing, the smoke pellet also allowing Batman a moment to prepare for the men coming.

(so what's going on right now?)

Batman narrows his eyes and dodges a knife slash before starting to take thugs out.

(Batman is trying to get to Clue and Deathstroke.)

(Batman is at Amusement Mile trying to rescue the Mayor, DA, and ADA from Clue and Deathstroke who have set up the Mile as huge trap with several gangs and assassins waiting for Batman so when Batman gets to Deathstroke and Clue he'll be exhausted like in Knightfall. So far Batman has avoided Deadshot's aim and just fought Saiko who backed off after several goons came to interfere and Saiko wishes to beat Batman one on one cleanly. Nightwing is shadowing Batman keeping a low profile while the rest of the Bat Family rescues other hostages around Gotham.)

Saiko watched Batman for a moment before leaving the Mile.

The thugs fired blindly into the smoke hoping to hit Batman.

Batman reaches out of the smoke and grabs two thugs, knocking their heads together and then pushing them towards two other thugs before punching their lights out.

The remaining three looked around for Batman frantically, the smoke had cleared but it was dark...and it was Batman they were up against.

(okay, might take this chance to introduce Cumbustion and Vidar. Are there hostages in more than just one place?)

The middle thug gets pulled back by a hookshot that's connected to a lightpost as Batman takes the element of surprise to his advantage, moving in and twisting the right thug's arm fiercely before knocking him out. The last thug gets a blow to the gut before being pushed up against a wall.

(They're scattered throughout Gotham)

The thug struggled against Batman trying to get loose.

"Deathstroke sent you and I want to know everything you know about the hostages."

"They're being held against their will." The thug said before spitting in Batman's face. "I'm not afraid of you Batman. You have rules, Deathstroke...he has no rules."

"Is that so.", Batman says and hooks a device on the thug's belt that shoots out a line up in the sky. Just two seconds later the Bat-Wing flies by and catches the line. The thug gets pulled through rows of abandoned stands before being seen dangling from the line as the Wing flies on.

Cumbustion sped down the street in a car he just boosted screeching to a halt when he saw some thugs with guns pointed into a crowd. He smiled revving the engine and floored it speeding towards the building. "This is going to be a rush" He crashed into the building sending chunks of the wall flying at the thugs and innocents jumping out before the crash. He stood looking at the mess smiling.

"Subtle..." Red Hawk said from behind him suddenly.

Cumbustion just shrugged rushing in kicking a thug as he was getting up pulling out a few knives throwing them at two others. He ran in front of a crowd of cowering hostages dodging the bullets from one of the thugs.

Red Hawk used Combustion's charge to slip around and free the hostages taking down a few thugs himself.
