An overseer targets the Manhunter from afar while he fights off the others then fires. Wonder-Girl hovers back into the energy bubble then flies at the opposite wall at full force.

Black Bat flips back and lands on Batman's shoulders then throws her weight and brings him to the ground.

Manhunter flies to the side avoiding the attack and flies toward the overseer.

"You're...", he takes a different grip and grabs her waist. "Too...", he shifts the weight and manages to stand up with Black Bat holding onto him. "LIGHT!", he says and slams her down on the hard concrete on the rooftop, keeping her pinned again.

"Active Firefly suit. Code 18025," Brainiac says through Lorie. Her suit suddenly reconfigures itself and she rockets up into the air with Batman still holding on.


"Spoken like a true Amazonian," Brainiac says through Wonder-Girl before propelling toward Amazon.


"We do?" Lantern says. "Uh, I mean, of course we do. All right. Looks like Brainiac is through this door." She then steps back to let Superman take care of it.

"Override. Code Alpha; 12024.", Batman commands and they both fall rocketing down back to one of the rooftops. Batman turns and makes sure he's the cushion as they land harshly with a loud thud, skidding across the gravel. He grunts in pain and gets up slowly, heading over to Lorie. "Wake up, Lorelei. I thought we were supposed to spend more time together, sure, but not like this, am I right?"

"Fire." Superman said to Lantern before moving to the door, he brought it down with a punch.

Amazon met him head on "Sorry." She hit Wonder Girl hard knocking her to the ground.


"Can I get a little help" Nighlight shouted trying to fight off Morningstar "He's out of control."

Wonder-Girl hit hard in return, knocking Amazon away into a rock formation. After hitting the ground, Wonder-Girl floats back up.

One of the Overseers fire at Manhunter from off to the side as he nears the one that'd taken the earlier shot at him. Meanwhile, three other overseers attack Green Lantern at once.


Brainiac had stopped speaking through his pawn. Lorelei throws two batarangs toward Batman that both light up and explode once in range.


Lantern walks into the chamber with Superman. In the center of the room is what appears to be the core computer maintaining Brainiac's nanite. "It can't be this simple. He's...he's freakin' BRAINIAC. It's NEVER this simple...is it?"

Superman looked around suspiciously. "This does seem far too easy..."

Amazon came out of the rock "We don't have to do this. You can fight him off."

Batman had dropped down as they exploded, only getting grazed in the back by the small explosions and dashed toward Lorelei, tackling her down again, pinning her. "Lorelei. Snap out of it!"

Suddenly the core lights up red and detonates with a strange blast of red energy that throws both Superman and Lantern back through the door into the previous room. Lantern drops to the floor after hitting the wall and her ring flashes. Warning. Danger level high. Red Sun Radiation intake critical. "Ow..."


Wonder-Girl stops fighting and drops out of the air out cold as do Lorelei and the remainder of the controlled heroes.


Brainiac's forces around the world cease function. Brainiac himself then occupies video screens across the globe. "I am Brainiac," he says. "Know that you have not won. This is not a tactical retreat of forfeit to your precious Justice League. This is, as you would say, the 'Eye of the Storm'. Treasure what time is still allotted to you. There are but 24 hours remaining for you." With that he was gone.

Amazon ran to catch her.

Superman grunted and sat up. "Not...good...Red Sun means my powers are being sapped..."

Centurion looked up watching the TV screens. "Well shit..."

"Is it over?" Nighlight asked looking up at Centurion kneeling next to Morningstar. "I really don't want to do that again."

"It's over for now." Centurion said.

"That's good" Nighlight said "So what can we do for him?"

Centurion looked down. "Not sure, let's get him back to the others."

"Others?" Nightlight asked "I know about you and Amazon the other Gotham vigilantes but you mean to tell me there are more."

"Well there's the Justice League." Centurion said.

"I thought that was just a rumor" Nighlight said

"It's real." Centurion said.

"And I get to meet them" Nightlight said excitedly "So cool."

Centurion nodded. "It is cool isn't it?"

"Definatly" Nightlight smiled
