"Well this has been a blast" Morningstar smiled "never would've thought I'd be part of the Justice League."

"I heard that," Bat-Girl agrees though in reference to herself rather than Morningstar. "All right, I'll stick around and help with the clean-up around here on the tower. Anyone lookin' yo get out of here can head over to the teleporter pad. I'll beam you down."


In Gotham, a number of thugs run through the alleyways, looking over their shoulders as they frantically flee from whatever pursues them. A shadow leaps from fire escape to fire escape over their heads. "Get ready to hurt," the shadow says before a number of red shurikens are thrown down upon them. The shurikens are oddly shaped and when the stop beeping, they release a smokescreen. When the smoke clears at last, every thug lie there unconscious and whoever had done it was gone. A flare on a timer suddenly goes off and fires into the sky over Gotham. When police arrive, they are baffled at what they find. These were crooks who'd eluded them for some time. The Brainiac situation didn't make tracking them much easier. One of them scratches his head and looks to the moon. "How does he do it?" He says, seeing the Bat Signal pressed against the black clouds.


Lorelei stands on the pad and salutes to Batman as she is the first one down back to Gotham.

Derek beams down to the cave after Lorelei.

Talon dropped from the roof onto the running thief taking him down. He quickly tied him to a post throwing a line at the one running pulling him off his feet. "Bats aren't the only things to be afraid of at night. Gotham does not belong to you any longer, this is my city."


"I should be getting back, probably need some help back home" Morningstar said heading to the teleporters.

Lorie heads up shortly after arriving. "I'm gonna head to bed. Being mind control is hard work," she says. "See ya."

"Yeah, see ya at the next crisis"

"We'll talk tomorrow.", Batman says to Lorelei and then turns to Morningstar. "Well done today.", he says and then leaves to check on the city. Apparently someone had managed to be busy during the invasion, maybe he should contact Shaw.

He stopped by a roof to contact the police officer through his com.

Morningstar nodded returning to Bludhaven "Best get busy cleaning up."


"I see you didn't take much time in becoming a world hero" Talon said behind Batman "It's okay, Gotham still has a protector."

Batman glanced back at him. "Talon... Yes, I know. Have you done all this work yourself, though?"

"No, there has been someone else running around trying to fill your shoes. Another bird to bring into the fold." Talon said "Or if you'd prefer I can take him under my wing."

"I'm not recruiting.", Batman answered as he kept surveying the city.

"Then I'll take on the boy" Talon said leaving him "Somebody must watch over him, we don't want another Jason Todd."

"No. I'll investigate him first before you do anything."

Talon nodded jumping off the roof flying over the city.

In moments, Shaw makes her way to the roof to find Batman. "You rang?"

"I don't know if the police had time to focus on much else than the invasion, but I figured you might've been keeping tabs on the vigilanties here."
