New Gen OTD

Servo was defeated by Nightwing, Bat-Girl and Deathstroke (Slade Wilson) who Nightwing hired to help them since he was in Gotham and the other members of the Bat Family were busy.As for his boss Zeitgeist he'll be showing up soon to take over for Servo directly and things will get very bad for Gotham as Zeitgeist knows their identities and is going to attack them and Gotham itself. 

As for Riddler and Scarecrow, sounds good. Scarecrow will have hard time getting into Nightwing's head though as he's been trained by the League of Assassins. Like I said though Nightwing is going to put Scarecrow through the ringer to find out about Nightingale, something Batman might not really like.

Alright then.

I'm thinking that Sovereign probably isn't going to show up again until maybe the arc when Superman goes ballistic. Sovereign foresaw Super-Girl going nuts based on previous experiences but maybe since this is another reality, here it's Superman that goes over the deep end instead. Still on the fence as to if this should actually be Cole or if it's a clone or some alternate version of him or something, that way Cole can fight him like how Main Superman fought Other Earth Superman in Injustice and blah blah blah. Just teetering because if it's a clone, it'd be too easy to get trapped in that whole Pitfall of "Clone isn't as powerful as original" and then all they really need to resolve the problem is the original after the clone is done making everyone else look like an idiot. Which is something I liked about Injustice. Yeah, Superman beat...erm...himself in the end, but everyone else played pretty key roles. Just trying to sort that whole thing out. But that's after the whole Zeitgeist thing so it'll be a while before that actually swings around.

Make it a clone, but it more powerful. Say it was genetically enhanced to better absorb yellow sun radiation making it's powers more powerful, thus making it stronger than Superman, requiring a full League response. 

Could be tipped off it's a clone when the Superman clone does some incredible feats and everyone just goes. "Oh yeah, that's just Superman being Superman" but not Batman he picks up on it and looks into it.

Ooh. I like that idea. So since Super-Girl is presumably more powerful than him or will be, would the clone be more powerful than her or could she match it? I was thinking of giving her powers back about mid way through the arc, maybe. So she could be like the secret weapon if they haven't found the real Superman by then.

Stronger I'd think, at least during the arc. The Clone Superman will take on the League and stomp most people and they retreat then use Super-Girl to try and stop him, she fares better than most but begins to lose once clone loses interest in the fight and stops toying with her. The real Superman could hear her fighting from where he is and goes nuts, all red eyed blood lusted Superman and comes out and father and daughter take it to the Clone.

Yeah, that works. So...

-Evil Atlantean floods Little Bohemia.
-"Superman" confronts Aquaman but is stopped before he does something he'll regret
-"Superman" starts bringing down the hammer, killing off the bad guys and forcing compliance of governments and the like
-His actions divide the superhero community
-Mini-War breaks out
-Someone (I'm guessing Batman or someone) discovers the real Superman imprisoned somehow but he'll need time to recover his powers, etc, so they hide him for the time being, not telling the League because they're on the opposing side and the League most likely won't believe them. But they do tell Kara
-Some heroes on the clone's side begin to question what they're doing. That doubt eventually spreads throughout
-The clone does something that crosses the line entirely and not long afterwards, it is revealed that this Superman is a clone
-Kara is sent out to try and help the League make a break for it but the clone, holding back because it thinks it's the real Cole, is still too powerful for her
-Despite being told not to go yet, Cole leaves anyway to defend his daughter. Seeing the real Superman causes something to click in the clone's mind and it sets him completely over the edge on a rampage.
-Superman, Super-Girl, and the Justice League take the battle to the clone now, ready to put an end to this at last.

That sound like it'd work?

Yeah I think that'd work fine. I might introduce Captain Atom as US Government hero who joins the Justice League and is one of the first to challenge "Superman".

I'm just doing filler stories until we get around to Zeitgeist, whenever that is. Right now the only plots I'm seeing are Riddler's kidnapping scheme and Vidar being on the loose.

Inque isn't really all that important. If anything, she's a potential advocate and member of an eventual Suicide Squad or some team of ex-villains out for reformation. Maybe the road to getting Lorie to go Catalyst again so that becomes a development for the Superman arc.

If we do a Suicide Squad I can have Deathstroke (Slade) lead it. 

As for Zeitgeist I'll be bringing him in soon, want to have Batman and Vivian have a chat with Servo before hand though since it's clear he's a pawn and not the king. They'd want to know more.

I'd add my Nightstalker to it, think I already had him taken by an Amanda Waller type. I've been thinking about doing a suicide squad myself for some time.

Vidar is running around killing crime bosses and wiping out mob families linked to the murder of his family. He is also planning on taking out Batman evetually. Not sure if shiney still wants to do this or not, but I was planning on having Vidar 'break' batman, put him out of commision for a short time then there could be a brief battle for the cowl, though not really much of a battle because I think Nightwing would just let Talon take over till Derek is ready to resume the role of Batman.

Yeah I think the plan was for Derek to ask Joseph but he'd decline because while he is a Grayson there's still a Wayne in Gotham and a Wayne should wear the cowl while Derek is rehabilitating.

Also, I like the Riddler/Nightwing arc going now. I think they'd make a good pair for each other as far as being each other's nemesis. Nightwing doesn't really have one yet.

Yeah, that's a good idea.

Zeitgeist thinks Wayne is Talon. I was going to have one of the newer guys I haven't introduced yet pose as Talon, saving Wayne's life putting doubt into anyone's mind who thinks Wayne is Talon, possibly with the other two birds.

Yeah I think we could have a good feud between Riddler and Nightwing. Nightwing's only other real enemies are Deathstroke (John Carter) and the League of Assassins.

true, and those are more of a physical match for him. Riddler could be more of an emotional and mental challenge to him. Targeting those close to him like his sister.

Exactly, and the others aren't really gunning for him specifically. The League is out for Kasumi more than him right now and Deathstroke is simply another merc who wants Mischief dead.

Wait, he still wants Mischief dead? I thought he already found out that she didn't kill his brother and Sportsmaster did it.

He knows, but she did take his eye. He's still a little miffed about that.

Ah, right. Forgot about that part.

Well, mentally, if pushed enough, she won't be above lobbing his head off so he's free to try. Though I'm sure Young Justice would find some way to meddle.

Oh they would, but he's not coming for her right now. The original Deathstroke has popped back up a little miffed someone is using his old moniker.

Getting a Batman/Catwoman vibe from Nightwing/Kasumi lol

Wasn't really trying for that, though I can see what you mean. If anything, I was just playing it up to Kasumi becoming more of a classic-style hero later. But the Batman/Cat-Woman angle could also work.

Not saying it in a necessarily romantic way, but in the way they're gonna but heads but be on the same side more or less.
