Right. I could see Kasumi being a part of the Suicide Squad, if only to keep an eye on the members. "If you don't keep it in line, I'll lob your head off" type thing. Like the leader's enforcer, so to speak. Was thinking of a little something to do with her sword essentially being alive and having a hunger for the blood of the irredeemable guilty. Inque would probably be more of a Gotham Sirens type thing or Birds of Prey.

I was thinking, who cloned Superman? So I came with the idea to bring in the government agency Checkmate. The clone Superman and make the Suicide Squad with a Amanda Waller type running the team, she'd be about a Bishop within Checkmate, the King would be an unknown until later on.

Sounds fine here. Who all are we thinking would be a part of the Suicide Squad, anyway?

I know I'd throw in Deathstroke (Slade Wilson) maybe Servo too. I think Shaun and Shiney had a couple characters too.

Yeah, I've got one guy I could throw in there. Plus my Ravager type that I haven't introduced yet, he could be part of Checkmate.

I do need to make up a couple of more bios, but I suppose Caliber could be part of it, too.

Came up with a neat villain I suppose could be treated as another nemesis for Nightwing later, once everything has slowed down.

What I'm thinking now, Venom, is that Manhunter disguised as the president manages to sneak up on Superman to perform a mind attack, and the action leads not only to Superman going beserk due to it but it also shocks Manhunter so much because he doesn't expect what he sees and that he's open for a wild swing from Supes and when Batman dives in to try a last resort action Supes throws a fierce uppercut or something that incapacitates Batman. Does this work for you?

So what should Nightwing find at the second cave?

I was thinking the security system activates and recognizes Nightwing, opening a seperate room that Joseph is prompted into entering, finding a Bat suit custom fitted for him, implying that Derek was prepared for the worst in this case. I'll type out a reply soon.

okay, so what is going on in Gotham? Everything else seems to be non-Batman related (with the exception of what is going on with Nightwing and Derek)

Had Nightwing and Kasumi looking for him, they never found him.

never intended the Riddler thing to go anywhere, it was just a random thing to mess with Nightwing/Joseph.

Could do the battle for the cape in the middle of this rpg spanning storyline but does it really seem like the appropriate time?

Thought just came to me though, why not let Joseph be Batman for most of the thing with Superman then towards the end (or whenever you're ready) Edgar can step in and take over.

Sounds good, Joseph could be Batman for the Superman arc then afterwards he gives it up, not feeling right wearing it. He could wear it during the Superman arc to rally the heroes.

Superman could attack the League again and he could be winning, then Joseph arrives as Batman and with some Kryptonite he rallies the league to drive Superman off, which kicks off the struggle for Earth as it becomes evident Superman can be beaten.

That can definitely work.

So I'm working on a post, here, and I think I can come up with some stuff for everybody to do, just for the sake of keeping people in it and not putting too much importance on the one group of people.

Just some stuff I thought up.

-After Adaptroid finishes in Atlantis, The Flash and Morningstar can be sent in to try and deal with that problem.
-Captain Atom and Mary Marvel can be sent to the Fortress of Solitude to try and commandeer Superman's Phantom Zone projector, where they might confront a couple of people who've sided with Superman, like maybe Citizen Steel and Captain Marvel Jr.?.
-Maybe have Vidar fight the new Batman, along with 8-Ball, who is trying to discreetly support Batman while fighting him?
-The Teen Titans, led by Dove, square off against Hawk and Combustion, perhaps, joined by Silverback to make sure Hawk gets the job done instead of letting Dove talk him down?
-Centurion and Nightstalker are sent to weed out and bring down key members of the Justice League, but instead they get into a brawl with Deathstroke and Cat-Woman?
-Super-Girl (Ellie) tries to reason with her uncle?

Just a few ideas I had for stuff to do while this thing with Superman is going on.
