Batman narrows his eyes, not because of his remark, but his denial of pursuing the destruction of Gotham. "Maybe you know someone who would..."

"How about 95% of the world? I don't care if it does get blown to bits but Gotham is one of the worst cesspools on the planet and I'm sure you're aware of that. The Clue. Paradox. Black Mask. Even down the line of history? Shriek. Blight. And the worst of 'em all. The Joker. I don't want your city destroyed. But god knows everyone else does."

"I see. If you're telling the truth then someone's taken a liking to your image, Bane."

"Of course they have. Lots of people have. I'm the perfect scapegoat. Think about it. I have the perfect motivations to do anything the crooks have in mind. I have all the means to do pretty much anything they can if not more. And I've been out of the picture for a while with anticipation that I'll get loose eventually."

"That somebody's taken the opportunity to do so might be true. Then again, you said it yourself, you're a man of many talents, so I won't know whether or not you're giving orders from Blackgate...", Batman says.

"I prefer to take care of business in person actually. That's the part they got wrong."

"Right.", Batman says, having gotten the information he wanted. Now all he had to do was to run a couple of background checks incase.

Vivian sits in her 'office' looking over case files before leaving.

Meanwhile, Bat-Girl sits on a rooftop over an alley where she knew there was an entrance to a bar for notorious crooks. She knew better than to go inside. But listening in couldn't hurt as she'd bugged one of the people who when in. She then contacts Batman. "Hey, Batman, you find anything useful, here?"

"It seems like we've got another impersonator.", Batman says into his intercom, having left Blackgate already. "What's your status?"

"Remember that Madcap woman that was on the rise before I left? She's been laying low but I've been hearing about her. Trying to see what I can find out. Who knows? Maybe there's a connection to my case and yours. Catalyst got away. I had her but...well...Bat-Woman."

"...We'll get her back. I've got information I want you to look at later. Be careful with Madcap."

"Yes, mom," Angelica says before switching back over to listening in on the criminals in the bar. Still nothing on Madcap. After an eventless night, she heads back to the cave to look into the information Batman needed.

Batman heads to the Aerocorp building to update Brass on things before returning to the cave.

The door to Brass's office sits locked and the windows covered.

Batman narrows his eyes and takes out an encoder for the lock just incase before... knocking.

"Come in...Batman," she says.

He takes out a batarang before entering the room, closing the door behind him.

Brass sit in her seat. There in the room are Moth, Dolly, Play-Doh, and Mama. Dolly sits on the table as Play-Dog holds Moth in place and Mama stands behind Brass. "Hi Batman," Dolly says. "Do you wanna play with us? We were just playing house."

"That's nice. But I think it's time to go to bed."

"But I'm not sleepy," Dolly says, coming off just as apathetic and emotionless as ever.

"I'm gonna call foul here. There is no way this hunk of mud is the real Play-Doh. I threw a freeze pellet at you and you didn't even notice," Moth says aloud.

"One of my dolls is broken. He won't stop talking," Dolly says. "Batman, you can play yourself. Mama can play my mommy. I'll be me and Play-Doh can be daddy." At hearing this, Play-Doh condenses into a human form. "And her," Dolly notes, turning to Brass. "She can be the family cat."

Brass narrows her eyes as the pseudo-six-year-old.

Batman notices the exchange between the two. "I'm not quite in the mood to play games tonight, Dolly, and it doesn't seem like Ms. Williams is in the mood either. How about letting her leave?"

"But, Batman, we can't even play for a little?"


"Yo, Bats," Moth interrupts. "Whataya say we play action figures instead of dolls, here?" He then flips the now more solid Play-Doh over his head and drops him against the floor of the room, throwing a freeze pellet at him. But Play-Dog simply absorbs it and begins to form back into his monstrous massive frame. "Oh...right."

"You're doing it wrong.", Batman says as half of Play-Doh's torso gets frozen. He removes a batarang from Play-Doh's back that he had thrown the instance the shapeshifting man had been thrown across the room. "Dr. Frost's order.", he says already half way across the room, rushing at Dolly.

Dolly sits there and stares at Batman when Mama suddenly attacks him and starts throwing punches with her buster gauntlets. This, however, frees Brass up and she grabs Dolly. "All right, I know who you aren't and you're not that deranged little girl so stop playing pretend."

Batman moves back and dodges Mama's punches before getting a move in, catching the right arm and flinging Mama over his shoulder at Play-Doh.
