Riddler got into a van with Nightengale driving off with them while Scarecrow continued to distract Nightwing

A cloud of dust expands over Caliber as she collides with the crate.



"Goddamn it...", Batman growled under his breath and went running after Lorie.

"Oh, get up. We both know that didn't hurt too much. I haven't even tried for your head yet," Bat-Woman says.


Lorie gets around a corner and disappears.

Nightwing grabbed Scarecrow by the throat and brought his elbow down into his shoulder, breaking it violently before throwing him to the ground and stomping hard on his sternum. "WHERE IS HE TAKING HER?!?!" Nighting roared.

A hand reaches out and in the blink of an eye through a long, surprising leap, Caliber forces the palm of her hand against Bat-Woman's forehead. "The head! Good idea!", she laughed and with a fierce throw of her arm sent her flying through office desks.


Batman glances back at Sturm following him for a moment before looking for Lorie around the corner.

"Thank you for taking the bait like and idiot," Bat-Woman says, rolling back with it and jamming a couple of pressure points before throwing her off.


Lorie had vanished completely, leaving Batman in the tunnel with Strum.

Nightwing tore off Scarecrow's mask and stuffed his escrima stick in his mouth. "Tell me or I turn your fucking head into a stew."

Scarecrow mumbled a reply but found it a little hard to talk with the stick in his mouth.

Nightwing jerked it from his mouth. "Repeat it." He said, Scarecrow knew he was serious now.

Caliber regained her balance quickly and glanced over herself. "Huh... Did you do something...?"


Batman narrowed his eyes and looked back at Sturm.

"That would depend on how well you can move your arms," Bat-Woman says, crossing hers.

Strum came at Batman hard, firing a energy blast.

Nightwing narrowed his eyes. "That's it." He said shoving the escrima stick back in, charging it up.

"Little birds gonna die like the rest of them" Scarecrow said "No more Batman and friends."

"Rest of them?" Nightwing narrowed his eyes.

"Riddler knows" Scarecrow grinned and started laughing. "He know the secrets of the birds and bats."

Nightwing grunted and stabbed Scarecrow's hand with a Wing Ding. "TELL ME!"

Scarecrow smiled looking up at Nightwing. "Does somebody have anger issues. Or maybe they're attachment issues. Did you not get enough love when you were a child? Did mommy not tuck you in? Wait, I know it's daddy isn't it? Daddy used to insult you while he whipped you for no reason. Did he call you a weak little momma's boy? Tell you you'll never be good at anything? Or maybe he mistreated your sister and when you tried to protect her, it only got worse for both of you. Tell me when I'm getting close Birdboy."

Caliber stares at Bat-Woman blankly then raises both of her arms up. However, her forearms were shaking noticably. "So-so.", she mutters. "Enough to send you flying for real next time I get my hands on you, though.", she grins.

Batman ducks down and leaps to the side away from Sturm's blast.

"Good. Then you might want to get the pod out of your hair," Bat-Woman says as she backs into the shadows again before the pod beeps behind Caliber and goes off.

Nightwing grabbed Scarecrow up by the collar and slammed his head into a mirror. "You're way off, I'm just the type of person who hates scumbags like you and Riddler." He said before kicking in Scarecrow's knee and throwing him down. "Now tell me where she and Riddler are before I end up breaking more than your knee." 

Sturm was on him as he landed shoulder checking the Bat into the wall then coming again to deliver a powerful punch.

"Doesn't matter, you're too late to save any of them anyway"

Nightwing grabbed Scarecrow's hand and put his thumb into the open wound. "You're still going to tell me, because I'm taking Riddler in."

"Go f**k yourself. I'm not betraying my partner. The age of heroes is over."
