DC Universe- 2100

Batman throws a thug coming at him with a knife over his shoulder and into a large crate that breaks from the impact. The Dark Knight spins around and ducks low as he avoids a crowbar aimed for his head and breaks the man's arm with a sharp twist and turn before sending him flying into another thug. They all pile at the demolished crate as Batman walks over. He turns and fires a thin tranquilizer needle into the neck of a thug who tries to stand up with the other bodies ontop of him.

Red Hawk walked up next to Batman. "This was too easy, you'd think someone else would be here to guard this place."

"Unless this is just a small fraction of a large operation.", Batman says and walks over to the computers, plugging a harddrive into it, trying to find anything.

"Good point." Red Hawk said walking over with him. "I've done some back work on this and looks like everyone is pushing this meth...and I mean everyone. There's gotta be a bigger player coming to town."

"Producing large amounts in such a short period of time leads me to believe that the initital wave of meth hitting the streets might have been transported. Possibly from overseas.", Batman says. "There's nothing on here."

Red Hawk nodded. "Damn, maybe we can find a manifest somewhere to give us a point of origin."

Robin's earpiece goes off again. "Hm. I'm gonna split. Gotta talk to a guy about some stolen gems," he says, standing by the window and whistling for his glider to pull itself from the wall and return to him.

Red Hawk looked back at Robin. "See ya around."

Batman throws a tracking device beneath his glider as Robin leaves before looking for a manifest.

"So I gotta ask, Batman and Robin aren't partners?" Red Hawk asked looking for a manifest.

"As yourself, several birds have been popping up lately.", Batman says looking through the computer. "Without my say in it. There.", he says having found something.

"Well hope I'm not encroaching." Red Hawk said walking over. "What's the point of origin?"

"Hm... that can't be right.", Batman says investigating closer. "Germany."

Red Hawk cocked his eyebrow. "Hamburg...look then it goes to Metropolis...then Star City...then it comes through Bludhaven and then finally here. Someone is bringing a lot of drugs into the US."

"It's a bigger operation than we thought.", Batman says and downloads the intel.

Red Hawk nodded. "Wonder who's behind it all."

"I guess we'll soon find out.", Batman says and walks away from the computer.

Red Hawk nodded and followed him out. "Well this has been fun."

"I don't do this for fun. Expect getting contacted within the next week.", Batman says.

Robin lies down on his glider, playing a videogame on his phone while waiting on a signal. When his earpiece goes off, he sits up and takes the tracer out of his pocket. "Hey, dad, I imagine that tracer is..."

"Blocked, Alan. Though why you'd want to block it escapes me. Isn't Batman still the good guy?"

"That depends on your definition of 'good'. Considering the breach of privacy and whatnot, I'd say he's...what, a control freak? Not exactly my style."

"Didn't you leave a tracer on Black Bat?"

"Ah, come on, pops. She's a SHE...and kinda-"

"All right, I get the picture. But I don't think stalking her-"

"Not stalking. Pursuit of interest. Besides, she blocked mine. I knew she would block mine."

"And Batman didn't leave the tracer as a 'pursuit of interest'?"

Robin pauses for a moment. "Well, if he'd been a little more friendly, it might've seemed that way."

"Alan...he's Batman."

"Fine. Fine. I'll go catch up with him later." Robin stands and hops onto his glider, leaving the tracer on the rooftop and flying off.

Red Hawk nodded. "Will do, see ya around Bats." He said heading off into the night.

There's the sound of something speeding fast toward Robin and his glider. The Bat-Wing flies past the "Boy Wonder" and heads toward the nearest building with the most surface for landing and does so. He gets out of the Wing.

Robin slows on his glider and hovers at the edge of the building. "Is there something I can help you with, smiley?"

Batman walks over and stops when he notices Robin glide back a bit. He drops a handful of tracking devices on the ground. "Familiar design. Although easy to spot."

Robin looks down at them. "What about 'em?"
