DC Universe- 2100

"He already did..." Red Hawk said. "He killed- He's killed plenty of people."

"Star-Girl.", Batman interrupts suddenly, noticing everybody staring. "...I'm impressed. With everyone cooperating this'll go off without a single problem. Then again, nothing ever does, really."

"So killing him is your solution" Talon asked letting him go "Well alright then, let's all follow that example. I know a cop whose been doing jobs for the families for months now, why don't we go track him down too. And what about the guy that killed that quarterback, maybe we should go kill him after that. Heck, why not just kill them all, I mean what's the point of throwing them into Arkham or Blackgate or any other jail? They always wind up back on the streets anyways right?"

"Don't mock me old man." Red Hawk snapped.

Sal went to try and move away from them but stopped ad jumped back as a Redbird stuck into the wall by his head.

"You're going no where Sally." Red Hawk said.

"I'm not mocking you" Talon said "I'm just asking where does it end? You've got skills kid but you've also got a temper and right now that temper has you on a highwire teetering between being a hero or being seen as another violent vigilante. Make your choice fast though cause the cops will be here soon."

Red Hawk looked at Sal then at Talon. "Tie him up..." He said walking away. "Let him rot in Blackgate."

"You made the right decision" Talon said stringing Sal up from the rafters. He followed Red Hawk out "I'll make sure he doesn't get out."

"Good, because if he does..." Red Hawk said. "You might not be around to keep my cool for me."

"This is Gotham kid" Talon said taking off "someone is always watching."

Red Hawk watched Talon take off before he looked back hearing the Police rolling up. "Good to know." He said taking off into the night himself.

Centurion was working his way through Bludhaven now, he'd realized his mistake. It wasn't Mischief that had all been a ruse just to keep him occupied or to at least keep the heat off the real killer. He did his homework this time when his mind wasn't reacting right away to the situation. He quickly deduced it was Sportsmaster when his head was clear, and he knew Batman, Nightwing, and Morningstar wouldn't be far behind him. He had to be quick about it if he wanted his revenge. He was getting close now.

Nightwing swung onto the rooftop of a building in Bludhaven, he was following Centurion but Centurion wasn't making it easy the man knew how to cover his tracks well enough to at least delay him. "C'mon Nightwing, gotta find him...gotta take him down."

"I have a tech expert workin' on Mischief's nano tech watch. It's weird but...she acts perfectly normal when the thing's turned off. Still abrasive and comical but not crazy. I'll send her too. I wanna see how she operates without it. She can use a holo-watch for the white skin look if she wants."

"Then...it is settled," Wonder Woman says.


Down in Gotham, Super-Girl and Black Bat sneak around at a local casino. Rumor had it that a renowned jewel thief was running the place, using money from stolen treasures to fund everything. Sneaking wasn't Super-Girl's forte but this little nugget had operations in Metropolis that was making her look bad.

Jack had finally tracked down Sportsmaster. He planted a C4 charge on the door and wall. He took a few steps back before blowing the door and wall out and he calmly walked in, his sword in one hand and a sub machine gun in the other.

Superman nodded. "Sounds good to me."

Red Hawk was sitting perched on a rooftop looking down at Gotham. Ricorso is in jail now...so do I really want to wear this get up any more? Do I want to help Gotham- Red Hawk's train of thought was cut off by the crying out of a woman.

"HELP ME!!"

Red Hawk looked down seeing a woman running away from a group of men down into a dark alley, they were corralling her sheep dogs. Red Hawk knew at that moment, if he had the means to help, he had to help. Red Hawk shot a zip line and made his way to a fire escape several floors down and he dropped down behind the thugs.

"You know guys, if you really wanted to talk to a girl you should just go to a club...or see a prostitute in your case." Red Hawk said/

The men turned around. "Who the fuck are you supposed be?" The lead one said

"Yeah, you some kinda Nightwing knock off?" Another piped up.

"No, I'm just a concerned citizen of Gotham." He said taking his escrima sticks out and he put them together and they extended out into a bo-staff.

"No, you're just a kid who's about to have a bad night!" The leader said rushing at Red Hawk. It was over in a few seconds and the three were bound up and tied to a dumpster. Red Hawk walked towards the woman who was in the corner curled up frightened a little still.

"Hey it's alright, the cops will be here soon and you can put these guys away." Red Hawk said helping her up.

"Thank...oh my gosh...If you hadn't come along I'd be..."

"Hey it's Gotham lady, someone's always watching." Red Hawk smiled before shooting a grapple line up to a roof top. "See ya around lady." He said shooting up to the roof and disappearing.

Lila had been walking by the door when the explosion went off. She flew across the room as a result of the blast. However, she was able to catch herself. "What the devil?!"

Centurion stepped into the room, he looked a bit different that usual with half of his mask blacked out. He aimed his gun at Lila. "Sportsmaster, where is he?" He asked with calm tone but one that demanded and answer.

Lila stared at the gun and began to slowly back away. "I...He..." She stumbled over every word.

"WHERE?!" Centurion roared at her, he had no patience for this now.

Lila couldn't move...or could she? It wouldn't matter. An iron ball suddenly slams into Centurion from behind. "Why are you scaring my baby girl? I don't need help with that."

Lila tensed again and random thoughts ran through her head but one kept coming up. It was all too likely that one person in the room wasn't walking away today...and she was determined to make sure it wasn't her.

Centurion was knocked forward a bit by the ball but he caught himself, his suit absorbing most of the impact. He turned around and looked at Sportsmaster. "I have to say you did a decent job of covering your tracks...but it only prolonged the inevitable." He said opening fire at Sportsmaster.

Sportsmaster spins his sword to deflect the bulletd the yanks the chain of the iron ball, causing it to fly back toward him but trip Centurion up in the process. "Tough talk coming from a guy who can only see out one side pf his face. Here, let me help you even that out." Then, when the ball makes if back to his hand, he throws it down at his head.

Centurion chuckled and caught the ball and he slashed the chain with his sword. He tossed it aside and came at Sportsmaster slashing at him with his promethium sword.

Sportsmaster blocks the sword with his own Promethium arm guard then gets his own sword out. "En Garde, Patchy the Pirate."

Centurion smirked under his mask and put his leg between Sportsmaster's and swept his feet out from under him and then put his sword into Sportsmaster's shoulder as he hit the ground.

Sportsmaster grunts then chuckles. "Should've watched where you stepped, one eye. Trip it, baby girl!" He says.

That name again. Lila could not bring her hate for that name to words. She knew he wanted her to trip the signal of the trap door but...then--

--she backs away slowly, holding her frightful expression and tripping over herself. "Hey! What're you DOING?! Get back here!"

Centurion smiled. "Seems your little girl isn't on your team any more." He said putting his foot on Sportsmaster chest holding him down before taking his energy lance out and putting it through Sportsmaster's head.

Lila made her way to the basement after watching her "father" killed. There she collected all of his gear, including a promethium shield and staff, a promethium version of the iron ball weapon, and more. Revenge wasn't on her mind in the least but getting far away from here was.
