Attempting again.

I enjoyed the hobbit movie. It was a wonderful and I hope everyone else had a fantastic day.

Can't wait for New Year's Eve, not just to hear about uni but would it be too bad if I'm excited about the new RPGs?

Anymore ideas? I want more lol

Hit me with the most bizarre of ideas. We've tried heaps already and some work, some don't but I like that we gave them a go. What would you think about the possibility of a police rpg? We did have cura but that had a special team with powers and we have shield etc.

yep, that's what I was thinking same with the Teen Titans rpg and the X-men one.

Could possibly turn the Pantheon one into one about greek gods in modern days and Scars into a cop rpg.

I figure we could turn Haven City into a full blown Marvel RPG since it's heading that way anyways so we could use elements from X-Men in HC.

Yeah we could make Pantheon into the modern day one and Scars into Cops

I think we should keep The Protectors a bit longer. Maybe we'll figure something out for it. We could do the same with that as we're doing the new Clash RPG and set it in a future century.

I'm okay with reimagining Pantheon and Scars.

Same way I've been thinking, it's easier to move the old topics into archives and keep the old forum behind.

The idea about a merge between haven city and xmen works, but I also get shineys thought that we may be able to revive some. Xmen had a great idea before it was lost and mostly that was due to the busy real lives we live. Then again there's only so far we could've gone with the current story before we'd find ourselves back where wen were looking for a new story.

We can perhaps reference the former pantheon in the new story? In the way that maybe the reason why the old gods didn't continue to be worshipped like in our society today is because people no longer believe in them. The temples are ruins and the stories have become stories that no one takes seriously and are made into plays and works of art. Then after so many years the children of the gods are brought to earth and merged into mortal families, designed to see if gods and mortals can exist at the same time.

I think what venom was referring to, as far as merging X-Men with Haven, was that we've got the school and X-Men introduced (James' sister for one) into the rpg so why not just carry the rest of X-Men over to that world. DOn't think he intended for what we've done in the seperate X-Men rpg to be included. 

The think about X-Men is there really aren't alot of stories you can tell that haven't been told before in one form or another. They have always been outsiders- hated, feared, oppressed, and hunted. They have fought to prove to the world that Mutants are not bad and that mutants and humans can live side by side peacefully. They have fought fellow mutants seeking to dominate or destroy the human race, aliens seeking to conquer the world, and anti mutant hate groups.

That's the understanding I got. To move some characters across. Maybe not all of them. With the current story on xmen I don't know if it has the strength to last it out. Some characters I feel were/are close to their end of the story anyhow

A gorgeous sunny day of 30 celcius so I'm down the beach. And yes I'll wear sunscreen but most importantly we will be listening to the surf lifesavers, if I hear the siren I'm out of that water like those ones on baywatch. Seriously I'm a little nervous a shark was seen off the shore only 500m down at another beach, 1k off shore. This time I think I'll put my toes in and say that's enough lol
