Apparently that supposed to happen during the Zeitgeist thing.  Could just as easily have Superman do it right here.  Doesn't much matter when it happens, as long as it happens.  Perhaps Edgar takes over because at this moment, more than ever, the world's going to need a Batman or something. Actually, Derek getting hurt here could be a good cause for Lorelei to slip back into the Catalyst persona again. I've hinted that she's headed there anyway, and she's been off her medication for a while due to lack of downtime.

Or maybe it happens somewhere a bit further along the arc and Derek forces himself to work as a type of 'Oracle' character for the Anti-Superman side from time to time. Hmm.

That also sounds fine to me.

Saw that you made an edit. Yeah, I guess that could happen anytime. Just need to work the actual 'thing' in there at the right point.

got four new characters to introduce during this. Five if you count Ravager.

8Ball/Sam Sloane is a genius inventor and business man that managed to stay off Zeitgeist radar. He's basically Batman but willing to take things further if the ends justify the means.

Animal Man/Elijah Baker is a decendent of the the orginal Animal man who possess all his ancestors abilities. He sides with Superman because he believes Superman is doing this for the good of the planet. Might be one that switches sides after sometime.

Catp. Trevor/Citizen Steel is a military man who has superstrength and invulnerablity thanks to some military experiment. He's been assigned to watch Superman to make sure he doesn't become a threat to the government

Dr. Fate is a mystical mysterious person who few know exist. He tries to stay out of conflicts


Hawk's reason for joining Superman are simple, he believes Superman is right. He is also the avatar of the Lord of Chaos so he sees it as his duty to side with the person creating Chaos to further assist. Without Dove to balance him though he becomes more violent and bloodthirsty. Eventually I'll probably have Dove get through to him and convince him what he's doing is wrong or have him kill Dove which will have some kind of drastic effect on him, not sure what I want that to be yet.

Nightstalker's reasons for siding with Superman are also pretty self explanitory, he was already doing what Superman is proposing before he was captured. How he comes about joining him though is something I still have to work out.

Vidar doesn't exactly believe in killing every criminal. He has a mission to accomplish and sees siding with Superman as the best way to achieve that. Basically he joins to get at Batman and once he does that he'll probably wind up disappearing.

Cumbustion sees Superman's extreme approach as something exciting and a way to get the rush he's always searching for.

Silver Back see's this as an oppurtunity to oppress the inferior humans of the world. He doesn't really care about Superman's agenda, but if it gives him freedom to further his own goals then he's all for it


Most of those that oppose Superman do it because they don't think his extreme tactics are right. The only one that has a different agenda is Ravager, who see's the next logical step in Superman's new philosophy would be the oppression of the entire world and that is not something he can allow because the world is his to rule.

Citizen Steel and Captain Atom could make for and effective team, my Captain Atom is essentially doing the same thing.

So how do with think Superman's declaration of power shall play out? He starts with the Justice League and when they join/reject him, he turns his attention to the government?

He's going to come back and assume power and say anyone who sides with him will bask in true justice, those who oppose him will be destroyed.

Sounds good to me.

I've always said Cumbustion could kill any of them with a snap of his fingers, literally blow their heads off if he wanted to. Don't think we want that to happen to any of the titans but I do want to make it intersting and challenging. Maybe he's able to seperate Star Girl from her staff at some point in the fight. Red Hawk and Shadow might just be too busy with Ravager, who is essentially another Deathsroke type. I think Mischief might keep Cumbustion busy longer than anyone else and either get tired of fighting him or become determined to bring him down.


I want to make Morningstar disappear for awhile so I'm going to use this fight with Adaptroid to do that. I'm trying to expand on his powers and that's what he'll do in this fight. Pull of some stuff even he wasn't sure he could but in the end, none of it phases Adaptroid. Perhaps, Adaptroid realized he's being hacked and to keep him from adapting Morningstar tries one final thing that let's Flash finish the hack but causes him to disappear. He will eventually return though not for sometime as a being of pure light.


I think Superman would expect them to try to find something to stop him in his fortress so he has sent some recruits to guard it-Citizen Steel and Animal Man. 8Ball will join them eventually to challenge Batman.

All sounds awesome to me. Mischief would probably just get tired of fighting him, if anything.

Something I just thought of that was kind of funny/amusing is if after evil Superman is beaten he destabilizes and turns into Bizarro or something. Just a thought that occurred to me. Nothing more.

That'd be neat. If Venom wants to do it.

Well, I'm planning on doing a funeral for Morngingstar, even though he's not dead he is still gone and no one seems to know if or when he'll be returning. I plan on having him make an appearance at the funeral but only Nightlite will notice him.

Animal Man will approach the Justice League hoping to join them to atone for all he did while working for the clone Superman and Citizen Steele will have a confrontation with Captain Adam about his role in joining Superman.

So are Morningstar and GL going to be having two separate ceremonies or one big one?

we'll do them together, might as well.

I suppose if it's still a thing, could go and do that Lantern Corps RP now that Mercy's out on Oa.

been watching DCU animated movies lately which has given me a few ideas for this inspired by Justice LEague Doom and Crisis on Two Earths.

I love the DC Animated movies, what did you have in mind?
