Lucas grew up in Gotham always fearing something bad would happen to him and his family. After graduating he chose to join the army. He had hoped to be able to stay in the states to protect his family but was deployed over seas. Before leaving though he married his high school sweetheart. While overseas his family got caught in the middle of fight between Batman and some gangsters. When he returned home to bury his family he learned that his wife was pregnant and found out that the police were doing nothing to bring in those responsible for their deaths. He went AWOL, refusing to return from his leave and set out to use his training to bring down his families murderers, including Batman.

History:

Jack was born in Gotham City and wanted nothing more than to get out of the crime ridden city. When he was 18 he did just that by enlisting in the US Marines. He quickly ascended to the ranks showing his skills and natural leadership qualities. After a few years he was recruited into the CIA and was given an enhancement serum which greatly increased his mental and physical abilities. Jack would then run black operations for the CIA in various parts of the world under the code name Terminator, a reference to his favorite movies when he was a kid.

One day he decided to enough was enough and he returned home to Gotham to try and live a normal life. He moved in with his brother John who had become a famous football star and lived in a mansion just outside Gotham. Jack then joined the Bludhaven Police Department and became a Detective trying to clean up Bludhaven by day and at night he was Centurion trying to clean up Gotham. He worked with his partner Frank Vaughn (Morningstar) both on the force and as masked heroes.

One day however that all changed. His brother was murdered by Sportsmaster who was the quarterback for the Gotham Bats before John came along and who blamed John for his career ending and his life taking a turn for the worse. Sportsmaster framed the vigilante Mischief for the killing to keep anyone off his trail. Centurion then went and took Mischief prisoner and tortured her trying to find out why. When Centurion was close to just killing the young vigilante Nightwing, Batman, and Morningstar had tracked him down intervened. Centurion escaped but not without injury as he lost his eye to Mischief. Centurion would then ditched his costume and become Deathstroke. As Deathstroke would finally figure out that Mischief had not killed his brother and that it was in fact Sportsmaster. Deathstroke would deduce the man's identity and then brutally killed him. Deathstroke has stated he feels no remorse for his torture and abduction of Mischief.

The subject of a US Army super soldier serum Slade Wilson gained various enhancements to his body. He would later retire in life having outlived nearly all of his competitors and having made quite a fortune. Polymorph - Inque can take on any shape, color, and size that she so desires.  She can also generate anatomical constructs such as tendrils, weapons, and so on.  She can solidify herself to enhance her strength and also stick to walls and stretch to presumably no limit.  The polymer that comprises her body resists extreme temperatures and is insulated, preventing electrical shock.  However, sonic frequencies interfere with her ability to maintain solid form.  This is often a brief fix.  However, water does seem to dilute her form as well, though only in significant amounts.

Inque is a powerfully effective temptress, using her talents to literally become whatever her fixation desires of her.  But she is also very obsessive over her goal of erasing Gotham's current canvas and redrawing it as a beautiful new light.  The problem is that she has astronomical boundary issues and while she doesn't steal or murder, she has a temper.  She often extorts or brutalizes those that stand between her and her dreams.  She even kidnaps people from time to time.  Her essential wording of the goal is "To create a Gotham that doesn't need Batman."

The Joker

Is he the original somehow brought back from the dead?  Or is he perhaps a whole new Clown Prince of Crime?  Answer: Does it matter?  He's The Joker and he's certainly proven himself to be a serious threat.  Whether or not he's the genuine article, he's presumably been orchestrating several operations around Gotham, with the express purpose of instigating total chaos.  He's challenged the Bat-Family, removing a large number of eligible candidates for the men and women wearing the masks.  He's supposedly executed the majority of Gotham's most influential crime bosses, leaving only Paradox, Black Mask, and the newly rising Emperor Penguin.  That kind of power vacuum will inevitably lead to a good old fashioned Gotham gang war.  The one person in Gotham who can give the Maniac Merc a run for his money, and he has to surface while Clue is still at large?  With them both out and about, Gotham is undeniably in more danger than it has been in years.
