Guardians

Sam moved with Andreas and Thomas heading out.

"We're almost clear, go ahead and blow this place when your ready Miller"

"Gonna wait until I see you're clear." James said. "So move."

"Not a problem" Andreas said

Thomas moved.

"Alright we're clear?" Andreas said "Blow the place and maybe we can stop it here."

James nodded calling in the airstrike.

Andreas took his helmet off getting onto the transport

Thomas got on as well.

Sam piled on after them.

James watched as the transport took off and the air strike came in.

Andreas watched the base blow up letting out a sigh

James sat back. "So, what all happened in there?"

"Nothing" Andreas said "we could've walked right through the front gate and nobody would've cared. It was like everyone there was too busy to notice us."

"That is odd."

"And now I'm starting to think it was a little too convenient that we found what we did" andreas said "like maybe we were set up."

"So am I..." James nodded.

"You're right, it does seem a bit eerie."

"I'm sure the big brains can figure it out" Andreas said stepping off as they landed

Months past as the number of those infected by the virus grew. Those still clean have been forced into hiding while Rodgers leads the resistance with what is left of SHIELD and other agencies from around the world. The brightest minds have worked feverishly on a cure and managed to come up with something they think will work but haven't been able to test it properly. Feeling that the time was running out Steve made a command decision, one final assault on the machines stronghold. The plan was simple, divide the machine and infected forces drawing focus on Rodgers and his strike teams while a smaller one slips in to deliver the anti virus. Unfortunatly as with all plans, something had gone wrong and he lost contact with team inside. 

"Alpha team report" Stephen demanded taking heavy fire "Damn it Miller where the f**k are you guys." 


(Alpha team- Miller, Cassandra, Tom, Misato, Carol, Randal; everyone else is with Steve in the fight)


"Teacher take some men to cover our flanks" andreas ordered.
The elder Spartan nodded shouting out several names before taking off with some men.

"Working our asses off, what do you think", Cassandra said.

"Well hurry up, we can't take much more out here" Steve said "and answer the damn radio quicker next time, I thought I lost you."

James crawled to his feet his battlesuit was wrecked and he was out of ammo, he'd led a large group of infected and machine away from the strike team to give them a better shot. He stood up drawing his combat knife ready to fight the horde in front of him.

"Can we get the anti virus there in time?!"

"Yeah, we'll keep them busy long enough for you to work your magic" Steve said

"Alright, we're on our way in that case."
