Tai was off to himself waiting to hear who his opponant would be

Nigel and Aaron went off to meditate.

Rei stood up as he meditated.

The Next Day

"Alright everyone! Now that the preliminary matches are complete we can begin filling in the brackets! Now here are the match selections!!! Match One is, Nigel Fordham vs Rei Mendora!. Match Two is Cobar Metrac vs Kai!. Match Three is Aaron Marden vs Tai!!" The announcer said as he continued to list off the other matches.

Kai looked at the image of Cobar unimpressed "Hmmph, doesn't look that tough. Shouldn't take me more then fifteen minutes to beat him."

Cobar stood behind him and smirked. "You say that now little man."

Kai turned looing up at him "What's up with all the muscles, trying to make up for something bub? I bet the ladies laugh at you all the time."

Cobar smirked. "Got quite the mouth on you small fry. I'll enjoy shutting it in the ring."

"If you can find it" Kai said "Let me help ya out, it's the big round thing out there. Don't worry though, nobody will blame you if you don't show."

"Funny, because the ring is a square." Cobar said. "But don't worry I'll be there and you'll be a dead man afterwards." He said walking off.

Kai shrugged walking off to get ready

Rei looked up at the picture of Nigel then closed his eyes.

Nigel cracked his knuckles and headed off to wait until the matches started/

Rei went to find a seat.

Nigel sat down meditating before the fight.

Rei looked over and saw Nigel. He was feeling more anxious than usual.

Nigel breathed out deeply and sat up.

"Alright people! Match One is about to begin!!!" The announcer said standing in the ring.

"Mr. Mendora, if you'll come with us your fight is about to begin shortly."

Tai joined the other fighters to watch the matches.

Nigel stepped into the ring.

Rei stood up with his arms crossed and stepped into the ring.

Nigel stood at the other side, sizing Rei up.

Rei stood on the opposite side with his arms crossed, looking up at Nigel, considering the height difference.

"BEGIN!!!" The announcer shouted.

Nigel took a stance.

Rei slowly got into a stance, taking his time before observing the opponent.

Nigel advanced a few steps sizing up Rei.
